That's an honest mistake, it could happen to anyone. I'm female and I do it to other fans of anything that would be considered "for boys" for that reason.
I say the site should host a poll to see how many members are male or female, then send it in to the writers.

Hmm, I've got to disagree with that. Why? This site's pretty big from what I can see and I think that it has caught the attentions of the people who actually write/draw the comics/cartoons unless I read that post they had on the news thingy wrong.

Sometimes the only way to tell if a poster is a female is through their username! I didn't let people know I was female for a while because I wanted to be accepted no matter what my gender was. I've gotten several apologies once it was figured out I was a girl, because I was called "dude" so many times. I know I'm in a (mostly) guy's world here, but it doesn't bother me. I'm just as much a legitimate fan as they are.

Not a bad idea but I think it would be better that if there were a spot under our screan names for gender it would be better then doing a poll.

let me poke my head in here for a moment to ask for slight clarification on a term. Wallyworld = wal-mart?

"We, Decepticons, are a swell bunch. And boy do we have fun." - Starscream
"You're one of...those, Never understood why any self respecting Decepticon would choose auto-mobile as his vehicle mode when he could have flight." - Starscream
"For a guy hearing voices of the dead, you've got a pretty insensitive view of Mental Health" - Bumblebee

I've heard that a lot. My dad calls it Wal-meert or Mart of Wal. We used to call Piggly Wiggly "The Pig". Makes a place feel like home!

We just call it crap-mart.........to me the real Wally World was Waldbaums.........it was a grocery store back in NYC when I was growing up.

Yeah, Walmart, I was there with one of my girl friends and her kid Twinkie today. Ive been trying to convince her to play HMW, she'd make a great decepticon. She's got some truely evil ideas. But no luck yet.
And hey, better Markie Mark than Vanilla Ice.
Now he's watching Rumble in the Bronx.

First of all, I can't believe that this thread got so large after I posted not that long ago.
Next, I'm getting tired of it being stating that Transformers are for guys. There is no law stateing this. Next, there are a LOT of things that were originally aimed at guys that now acceptible for girls. My favorit example....
PANTS! Yes, pants. Even during my Mother's time, girls were not allowed to wear pants at school. Girls wearing pants are only now socially acceptible. You don't think about it, but it's true. Am I ever glad about that! Not only do I love Transformers (and I love sexy sexy Starscream) but I love pants!
Personally, I'm confused by this. How are Transformer comics aimed at 'dudes'? Really. I don't get how you can read them and infer that the comics are for 'dudes'.
Also, how do YOU know that the writers and artists aren't doing anything in Transformers for females? Are you a female? Seriously, how could YOU know if you aren't? I'm sorry but I find that pretty funny. What WOULD they have to put in the comics to make it for 'dudetts'? Optimus Prime baking? Megatron getting ready for a fashion show?
Personally the great storylines, great battles, and all the Transformers do it for me. Looks like the writers and the artists are doing things right for the female fan!

Well, its really not for me, nor do I really like hearing aobut it from other people, but to each thier own, I suppose. Like mentioned before, its kinda like hentai. I don't like it, but I don't look down on other people for it, unless it completely runs their life
