As much as I like their Quint figures, everything else was just poorly executed by the standards we're used to today. They had plenty of chances and really could've done well with their Tetrajets had they listened to feedback on the renders/prototypes. I won't miss them.

Man I'm a little disappointed, I was kind of hoping for another run of the Quintessons since I missed out on them. Guess that was wishful thinking.

I feel like those Tetra jets have a G1 toy kind of feel and everyone was expecting Classics design? So in a way I feel they are kind of misunderstood. Not sure what their intentions were though. I was surprised they did so many variations of colors right out the gate though?

TBH I'm fine with this. Other 3P companies are pushing the envelope, so to speak, and producing fantastic stuff while these guys just continued to make crap [-( The fandom have spoken by not purchasing their products and if they had listened to what was being said then people would've thrown money their way.

It does prove, in a small way, that 3P companies need to listen to the fans and that we're not going to buy every little thing they release.

I do feel bad for them. I was super excited for all of their Quints and the Alicon's great. But I think they really misjudged what the fandom wanted when they made their Tetrajets. Definitely should have stuck to the Quints and worked on the joints of their non-transforming toys. Still would have bought the three faced Quint from Dweller in the Depths.

Im disappointed. I bought all the quints, tetra jets, Kranix and Arblius and the Alicons. I use them with my classics shelf. I like this stuff a lot better than that FOC and TF Prime crap Hasbro puts out.

I can appreciate their intentions and the effort they put into their product, but most of what they brought to the table as a 3rd, in comparison to all the other 3rds out there, just couldn't measure up.

They held too strongly to the G1 template and as such, a lot of their stuff got overlooked by anyone who wasn't a die hard.

I empathize with their venture and wish them well with future endeavors, but I think their goals were... Impossible... from the get go.

Sorry, couldn't help myself...

Yeah, they can take their slavish 'too cartoony for a toy shelf' looks and hit the road. I own exactly 0 of their products and hadn't planned on purchasing any of the current or upcoming releases.

I feel bad for guys like X who liked what they had to offer, but their products did nothing for me and never were going to get any of my money.

I have their Quintessons, and they were pretty nicely done. I've been desperate for any Movie accurate Sharkticons, so the Alicon was a welcome sight. Still, I thought the execution could have been a little better on him. And $70 was waaaaaaaay too much for what could have been a decent troop builder.

I liked the engineering on the tetrajets. With a slightly better head mold, and a cheaper price (what, were they going to have 10 of them?) I might have bitten on them. On the other hand, between the Cybertron series seekers and WfC/FoC, I have a nice set of pre-earth seekers already.

Sorry, IT. Hopefully your engineers can find some homes elsewhere.

That takes 2nd place. The top of my list is, even after PE's Medic and Arcee, I spent $100 on TFCon's Knightbird offering...

For some reason, however they sent me two but charged me one, so I did manage to recoup some of the costs by selling one Knightbird for $40.

I'm not sad to see them go.

Am I the only guy who got a Valkarie and Medic with no flaws ? Of course I do take into consideration that only I display them, not play with them. I did later on purchase TFcon nightbird. It had a bad screw hole and the arm fell off. I filled the hole with crazy glue, and re-screwed the screw in tight. Never had problems again. I would like to purchase a delicate Warrior at some point, but im bummed that Igear never did a medic repaint. Im happy though having them both uniform.

I wish to clarify that mine were as good as they could have been, but in-hand they were just sub-par compared to whatever else was on my shelf, including almost all of the figs you so lovingly call "hasbroish." She could barely stand, let alone hold a pose; her plastic felt unfinished, nothing pegged in solidly, and the paint-apps looked ok from a distance, but up close were ragged and sloppy.

And I still said "excuse me sir, can I have some more?" when TFCon announced Knightbird.

I literally threw $70 in the trash when I got iGear's Delicate Warrior. I would not sell such a crappy figure to anyone. I didn't even give it away.

Their Medic and Knightbird are still on my shelf, but that's because there's been nothing better. One small bump and they take a tumble, and then I spend the next 10 minutes trying to get them to stand up again. In comparison, I've had Classics Perceptor fall over more times than Delicate Warrior.

Speaking about IT's Arcee literally makes me angry. I can't wait to throw out Medic when MMC gets theirs out.

Don't throw it out, that's a waste. Just take the medic and pose it face down with Cyclonus stepping on her head. posing problem solved. Due to their floppiness and falling down abilities they make excellent dead bodies.

Gotta agree with the consensus on their Arcee mould. There as no critical review before they shipped them out. There can't have been. I support IT to a great extent, but they **** up there. Big time.

Indeed. I've learned now that with companies that may not have the best track record, to wait for reviews before deciding.

Case and point would be that Powermaster Optimus Prim kit. The company that made it had a shaky start so I waited until I heard reviews of it and with most people singing its praises, I picked it up and I now have a God Ginrai that I'm happy to have on my shelves.

Well, as Mkall said, the one I got was underwhelming at best. Chest doesn't lock in, tiny, tiny arms. One of the seats detached and I didn't even DO anything with it. Just looked at it and literally 'plop'. There goes the seat.

For a while I put their Arcee in vehicle mode in another part of my collection before storing it away. It has a nice vehicle mode. I don't throw away any toy unless it's broken beyond repair and I have to admit .... I'm tempted to pick up their medic if I find it for very, very cheap. It has the thin, kinda fragile look I'd associate with a medic.

I was all ready to LOL at this but then I read the statement and to be honest it just made me sad. It's a shame when any company goes under and these guys were filling a niche, and that niche was probably way larger 10 years ago prior to Classics and when encore G1 releases were on the shelves. I think the Tetrajets were their final roll of the dice and the design (or implementation of it) coupled with the relatively small market doomed them. But at least they tried.
