Incredible MP Bumblebee

Postby E107_Theta » Sat Jun 09, 2007 12:11 pm

I didn't make this, and I don't know if anyone has found this yet, but it's so awesome, I thought I'd point it out. This is quite possibly one of the best kitbashes I've ever seen, along with MP Warpath. He's made out of Alternators Smokescreen, Gundam parts (RX-78 Gundam, Guncannon and Zaku II from the looks of it) and a model Volkswagen.

OMG *drool*... me want... If only they made a real MP Bumblebee...

That's a lot of kibble. And the chest/stomach is absoloutely huge.

But still a great job of building it.

It's very good, but Bumblebee looks fat now. However, I love what they did w/the MP Convoy & the antennae. Gives him more of an Anime look, I like it.

Hmm, ive never seen this one before, but i have seen other bumblebee kitbashes where they used alts and gundam parts. He looks way too fat though, hopefully my classics G1 bumblebee kitbash that i am working on wont look so fat.

His alt mode looks perfect and the paint is exceptional though. I wish i knew how he got over the problem with his legs sticking out of the front hood when he transforms as thats my main problem right now.

You know how classics BB's hood has those panels that fold up infront of the legs when he stands up? Well they are on hinges arent they, and im having trouble making my own right now so i wish i knew how he got over that problem.

Hmm..upon closer inspection i see how he has done it now...which i cant do since the model kit of my beetle doesnt come with an opening hood since its only 1/32 scale to match the classics BB size. Damn...oh well back to the drawing board.

I like the head mod he made to Prime too.

BB's fingers are great i like them the most, but the bot mode just looks too fat. What alt figure has their wheels folded up to form their feet? Is this a mod or does one of the alts come like that?

Overall though a great piece of work, especially the detail in the alt mode!

with all the detail, it sure holds up to the "masterpiece" standard
