The Takara Tomy YouTube channel has uploaded an interview with three of their toy designers Hironori Kobayashi, Hisashi Yuki, and Hisao Nishimoto. The trio give insight into the design of Takara's new Striker Optimus Prime, Leader Class Sentinel Prime, and DOTM's new Cyberverse series. It's been subtitled in English to boot! "Created in Japan in 1984." - The pre-TF toy molds, yes. The Transformers franchise itself, no.
"And their anime and movies are also very popular." - Not every TF cartoon ever produced was an anime. I know the word refers to all cartoons in Japan, but this doesn't apply for the rest of the world.
When Hisao Nishimoto is speaking, the subs misspell the word "addition" as "addiiton".
But aside from those bits, this was a VERY good watch. We need more Takara-based production media like this more often. We always get to hear from Hasbro; let us hear more from Takara once in a while.
