actually the 3rd movie is going to act as the third movie.

The game is like a go-between the second and third.

on a sad note, we were supposed to get a Master Replica Proton Pack and Trap today. But last month MAster Replicas dropped the license, for reasons i can only assume involve them being asshats.

That's if the 3rd movie happens. (I hope it dose though  )

I've heard if the 3rd movie dose happen we will be seeing three new recruits along with the four original Ghostbusters. the recruits are Rumored to be three of these actors; Seth Rogan, Johnny Knoxville, Paul Rudd, Ryan Renyolds, Dane Cook, or Seth Green. I personally would love to any combination of those three.

All the rumors I've read about the next Ghostbusters movie said that the new 'busters would be chosen from the Judd Apatow group of actors.

And if Dane Cook is anywhere near that movie then I will never see it. Such a waste of space. Terrible comedian and even worse actor.

Ben Stiller was a rumored potential a while back. Although I'm not sure - he's funny, but not in the mundane\ordinary way that Ghostbusters is.

I'd prefer it if they used decent, fairly unknown actors that could be funny.

Seriously the hell those looked awesome, my comic store guy wanted to buy one to go along with his overall gad damn it It would have been awesome having one of those and seeing my comic store guy standing in his comic store selling comics and greeting you while pointing the protonblaster at your face.

I thought Ghostbusters 3 was canned?

Oh and why can't we get action figures based of the Ghostbusters?

Ghostbusters 3 gets canned and uncanned often. It's about as routine. You can set your watch by it.

For that list of actors, I hope Johnny Knoxville isn't in it. Or Seth Green. I'm growing tired of Seth Green. And maybe get some actors who aren't late-20s/mid-30s white males. That list of actors seems a little narrow.

Still excited to see a movie, but I kind of hope they downplay or stay away from the new recruit thing. I want to see the Ghostbusters, not the New Ghostbusters.

Im waiting for the next volume of The Real Ghostbusters to come out.

I read in the paper that dan awkroyd is literally waiting for a phone call to green light the next movie. It also says he is pretty certain that it will happen. And i read this last week.

Did you know Gremlins came out on the same day? We don't see days like that too often.

Of all the irrepressible poonhounds in all of film and television, I have to admit a soft spot for Venkman. I hope that the upcoming sequel doesn't go down the "G.I. Joe" path.

Not only that but the studios those movies where made at where actually located just across the street of each other and the staff and cast would even go and meet up with each other and visit each others sets. And I think it was the director of Ghostbusters that visited Spielberg at his office and "borrowed" the actual bike that was used for E.T.

Harlod Ramis and Dan Akroyd as currently writing the third script. Apparently the only thing keeping Ghostbusters 3 from happening was Bill Murray. He's completely on board now.

I don't know that the f**ks up with him anyway. Bitches about not wanting to have his face being in the Ghostbusters show, bitches about the voice actor that takes his role in it, bitches about his face used to make a toy of his character. So they got him to jump on board of Ghostbusters 3 what motivated him to do that?

So who do you want to see cast as the junior Ghostbusters?

I think Alan Tudyck of Firefly/Serenity fame would be a shoe-in for the role. And even though I normally don't like Jack Black, he would probably be perfect as the team's shyster. Also, we definitely need a woman Ghostbuster or two.

I *do* like Jack Black, but I don't think he would fit in here. Ghostbusters had subtle humour a lot of the time, and if there's anything Jack Black isn't, it's subtle.

Actually the more I think about it the more I think Ghostbusters should be rebutted with a new cast. I mean I want more Ghsotbusters stuff and to be honest the original cast is too old. It'll look silly having near 60 year olds doing this kind of things they're old enough to play the ghosts!

Jack Black could play Slimer :P

I've got nothing to add to this except that Gremlins II is pretty much my favorite movie ever.

And Paul Rudd would be awesome in Ghostbusters.

I really liked the secretary from the Ghostbusters movies. Her facial expressions and how she said stuff in that tone of voice is hilarious. The potrayal of her was meh at best in The Real Ghostbusters.

Since I am finally on vacation I picked up the Ghostbusters game for my Wii and I absolutly love it. It is just pure fun.

I also picked up IDW's The Other Side TPD and I have to say was not impressed. However, I understand another arc is coming out. Anyone know when the first issue will be released?
