wigglez323 wrote:The only thing I didn't like about Wall-E is that it portrayed humans in the future as a bunch of fat slobs that are too lazy to do anything. Thus the creation of robots. But brings me to another point. Would we find robotic races? Like I said earlier, we might find a race that are kinda metallic that were actually organic. Not completely metallic because that just falls in my theory of how rock creatures wouldn't exist. So I wouldn't say we would find an alien race like transformers unless they were built by someone else. Like the Geth from Mass Effect. They were built by the Quarians to do labor for them and then gained self-awareness and rebelled. Now they have their own society and are considered another species because of the self-awareness and the term artificial is also considered racist to these beings.

Wall-E.
Best movie of 2008, imo. If you were expecting aliens and explosions, you didn't get it...

And yes, Apollo 18 was easily detestable.

You mean 2011? And I didn't expect explosions. I expected actual footage with actual aliens. Not fake ass footage with rocks with legs.

He meant Wall-E.
If you expected Apollo 18 to be real, you have no clue what the found-footage genre is. It's all fake; Paranormal Activity, Cannibal Holocaust, The Tapes, etc.

Oh...
I've never seen any of those movies though. But I knew PA was fake though, I've just never seen it.

SlyTF1 wrote:wigglez323 wrote:What do you guys think about aliens?
I think they better hurry up and destroy earth. I'd gladly help them. If not, I'll settle for being abducted by them and living on their planet.
wigglez323 wrote:So you think it would be logical to say that aliens would have to be on a planet at a certain distance from a star like earth?
prowl123 wrote:I don't think so. You have to get rid of the box, guys.
We all keep thinking that the aliens are going to be exactly like humans; it can't be too hot, it can't be too cold, they need oxygen, etc. If you cut up that little box that's called science, it makes believing in aliens so much easier.

How the hell do you know they need oxygen? They could have adapted to the lack of oxygen.

Leave it to Dead Metal to have the word 'Pronz' in his signature.
