Its a good comic...kinda what started my interest into Transformers comics...wished they had continued some more WFC/FOC comics. I just picked up the FOC one-shot with the Dinobots and Shockwave.

Technically that FOC comic is actually six issues compiled into one, as their original release in digital format was as a six-issue mini-series. The print version just put them together as one.bruticus1978 wrote:Its a good comic...kinda what started my interest into Transformers comics...wished they had continued some more WFC/FOC comics. Though, how'd you get the read the WFC comic?

I think you're wrong about Bruticus too. Compare the Bruticus Generations figures to the game models and the G1 toys and it's obvious they were modeled after the game designs, even if every detail isn't exactly the same.
FOC Bruticus:
Generations Bruticus:
G1 Bruticus:
Okay the FOC Bruticus toy was definitely meant to be from the game. Its just... Hasbro tried and did not do such a good job.

Metroplex is debatable.

The Covenant of Primus book recently retconned and repurposed the Generations Metroplex toy into representing the FOC Metroplex character, despite being surrounded by characters in WFC/FOC in the picture.
Though, Optimus, Megatron, and Ironhide were all in their Binder of Revelation bodies instead of the their WFC/FOC bodies (and Lugnut was in his Reveal the Shield toy's body).
So while the Generations Metroplex toy was first used for G1 Metroplex, it can now be used for both characters despite FOC Metroplex already having a FOC body design (which he even had when he died, BTW).

I picked up a copy of the WFC comic on ebay two years ago.
As for the FOC comic, I have the B cover for the edition, I'm still trying to get the A cover and the RI cover. I know that I can find them online, but I'm still trying local comic book stores before going that route.

I think putting anything WfC/FoC on your Classics/Neo-G1 shelves is entirely fair. The games were designed to be very "G1-inspired" even though nominally they were supposed to lay the foundation for a brand new modern continuity. Now that IDW has repurposed a lot of the WfC/FoC models into their new G1 comic series, it makes the "leap" almost painless, even for the most stringent of continuity watchdogs. I agree with Riddler J: put your toys wherever they make you happiest!
Side note: I'm going to wager that the "aligned" continuity is almost dead. I will be shocked if the next Transformers series has anything to do with was has been established in Prime (which itself messed up much of what was established in Exodus, which itslelf messed up much of what was established in FoC/WfC).

If it were to die, the only sadness I'd feel would be that there'd still be a lot of territory left unexplored in its timeline, as the Binder contains info that stretches from the Big Bang to the end of the universe, and a really doubt the restoration of the AllSpark into the Well of All Sparks, as well as the construction of New Spark, are when our universe meets its end (as that would have rendered everything accomplished by that point completely in vain).Wolfman Jake wrote:Side note: I'm going to wager that the "aligned" continuity is almost dead. Though, we know that a lot of the same people at Hasbro Studios are working on the next cartoon, and at least Bob Orci has expressed a desire to have the new show contain as much in continuity with TF: Prime, but whether or not Hasbro will grant that desire remains to known.
