Thanks Cary! It was fun, trying to come up with a new DJD amongst the TFs I had....some I definitely wanted to include, but didn't think they'd be a fit - like Skywarp. I mean, he's a warping prankster, not a hunter-killer! ;p

Wow, she may be non-canon, but Comera is an excellent addition to the G1 Dinobots! Well done, Fansproject!
She'll also go great with the Combiner Hunters, I bet....

I never thought I'd stray from Hasbro & Takara for my Transformers fix -- but if you've seen, held or own a 3rd party figure, it's hard to hate on the love and craftsmanship evident in the smaller production runs of these enthusiastic fans/toymakers.
Tarn (Mastermind Creations) and Comera (FansProject) are great examples, and I'd love to own more from these companies to complement the selection of official TFs.

Oh, for sure! I just really don't care enough or like the design on that particular figure!

I have my own 3P figure in the collection, and almost fell for a second of recent.

Oh, that certainly wasn't pointed at you Va'al!! It was a general statement on how I never would've personally imagined owning anything but Hasbro TFs! Especially for the price ranges we see with 3P.
I totally get Comera's design can be a good or bad thing, depending on how you prefer your femme bots -- I mean, wasn't Arcee designed to be a scantily clad bot version of Princess Leia from Episode IV?

All hail Optimus primal prime!

I missed the boat on Beast Wars, Machines, etc.
I had a younger brother who loved them, though, and I got to see some great beastformers as a result. But because of this inherent bias I had towards G1 Transformers, I didn't vote for Primal.
Now that he's won, though, I hope this means a revival for the figures in the whole Prime Trilogy!

I had no idea who Decepticon Quake was, until I looked him up on tfwiki. As a straight-up repaint of Hardhead (but his own unique face of course!), I think he looks pretty cool. It helps that I really enjoyed Hardhead, so I didn't mind the repaint here.
That said, I do believe the body makes a great generic-CON transtector.
I thought maybe Quake might be a fanboy of G2 Megatron.....

Robits in More Than Disguise!
- Motto: "Spare me this mockery of justice!"
- Weapon: Heat-Seeking Laser Blasters
Growing up G1, the call to battle for my bots was as simple as any 6 y/o could muster -- the Decepticons have made a new base, thanks to the Constructicons...and the corpses of fallen Transformers (aka, my broken bots could continue as background props!).
I think it was partially inspired by THE TRANSFORMERS ARE ALL DEAD...
...those pages from the Marvel comics burned in my mind at seeing all the Autobots defeated (dead???) by Shockwave....
...but then again, why wouldn't Cons recycle?
So Bumblee or whatever scouting party would stumble across it, report back to Prime and it was on like Donkey Kong.
This meant my best friend and I would line up every TF I had on different sides of the room in a solid line, armed to the teeth, Autobot versus Decepticons!!
Then it was like Mortal Kombat -- all the Transformers would face each other down 1v1, until only Prime and some Bots remained standing, while Megatron retreated with his Cons.
Fatalities included getting sucked into a nearby space bridge to Cybertron.....which meant I once threw my G1 1985 Shockwave across the room into a plastic/broken laundry basket - on top of other Transformers, unsurprisingly breaking off both arms and permanently making his ears floppy. >_<
The End lol (cue the Autobots Triumph tune as they drive off into the sunset!)
Needless to say, Imma teach my kidz NOT to break their TFs.

Man, those are some cool pics and a great story to go along with it. It's easy to get caught up in the day to day hustle of adulting, but totally amazing to remember such a finite moment in time that still to this day remains. Those are great moments

Hi Will, welcome!!
I didn't specify the particular class or era because I'm always looking for the version that gets the closest to my ideal image of each character.
If I were to choose a current incarnation, though....!
Shockwave - I'd have to go with the MP or FansToys Quakewave; both are great for different reasons, but between them I'd go MP.
Unicron - I'd settle for the Platinum re-release, but think I prefer either the Fewture EX Gokin PLUS Unicron Head or DAT LAMP. If there was eventually a Titan Class Unicron, that'd be ideal!
Rodimus Prime - at this time, I'd go with DX9's Carry....unless HasTak wants to do a new MP. I could also be happy with MMC's Calidus!
Cyclonus - I always wanted that Transformers Universe Deluxe version, or the G1 original. I also like the look of Xtransbots Eligos, but not that price tag.
Overlord - DAT G1 and MMC's Carnifex are tied for The One I want! But I may settle for the TR version simply due to price.
Dezarus - G1 would be awesome, but I'm very curious what HasTak may have coming up!
Scorponok - G1 original....but I'd love a Titan-class version!
Who's on your Most Wanted List?
