Omega Supreme! Credit goes to ViagraPrime of Transformers World 2005 for coming up with this guy first! I took a different spin on him and made Omega into a smelting/mining facility. He was made from a Cybertron Menasor body and Energon Landmine head. The electromagnet (which works) and scrap claw were Xevoz parts and I used some various other fodder to make the cannon on the back of his head. The two arms detatch into seperate mining vehicles and lock on with powerful rare earth magnets I got from Gaussboys.com. Inside Omega's chest is a smelting furnace that lights up and flickers so his lil' Minicon buddy can load Decepticon debris for smelting. Top off Omega with one of my custom paint jobs and you've got a new take on one of the biggest Autobots there is.

Great Kitbash!
I was wondering what grade of rare earth magnets do you use?
Thanks

I'll take a pic of them in robot mode, sure.
I snag the epoxy-coated magents from Gaussboys.com.
Thanks for the replies!

That's a really cool idea, and I love the alt-mode. One thing occurs to me, though... the feet have those tracks on the bottom, and with his new form they're not needed; might it be possible to convert them into a conveyor belt to move stuff into the furnace?

I tried figuring out how to flip the feet/ankles upside down but couldn't do that without some serious hacking/reworking. So I just made them the sidewalls. Good idea tho!

Could the tracks themselves be made somehow removable, and then attachable to the front ramp and lead-up to the furnace, perhaps? I don't have the fig to muck with myself, so I couldn't offer specific suggestions...
