Boy it's been quiet 'round here. Busy, busy, busy! But Sunday is for relaxing in the 'Tron.
I picked up TR Voyager Prime a couple weeks back. I really like him. I think Classics Prime is still my favorite go-to Optimus toy in a GenClassics themed world, but this TR figure is pretty cool. I always liked the look of Laser Prime, and this one delivers it up nicely. Lot's of poopooing of his alt modes. I think they're both fine. Even the jet, if only because I find it hilarious. Funny that over the last 2 years or so we've gotten so many OP toys that have their trailers built right in to the transformation.
Of course, the sword is most glorious! And I like to have his wings out in robot mode. I like him better without the pop-up ear muffs. The only down side is mine has super lose hips. He likes to rock back from the weight of his back pack, and fall over. Derp!

When the lion lays with the laser.
Kurona had asked me how Diac looks on Leo, but I hadn't gotten him yet. It was one of the first things I tried when I got him.
It works great, but I like Leo best with the head he came with.
The other way around.
Diac is super cool. He does pay nice homage to his ancestors. Especially with the silver head and the shapes sculpted into his chest. Although the specific shapes in his chest also conjure up a Microman vibe. Which makes sense since they're all family.
A few weeks/pages back Will spied Beast Machines Deluxe Optimus Primal on my desk, and asked why I had him out. the broad answer would be, why not? But more specifcaly...
...so I could do this.
He's the only Deluxe Primal I have, and the best for the job.
Poor lil Primal gets a lot of hate, but guess what guys? He's my favorite BM Primal toy I have. Could care less if he's not show accurate. He's just a fun toy.
I love his blazing shuriken! And then there's all the other translucent deliciousness.
I laughed so hard at that terrifying ape face the first time I saw it. still gives me the gigglies whe I see it now.
We'll be right back after these word from our sponsors.

And now back to our program.
After bodrock scored a sweet swap meet haul in Optimal Optimu Primal, I was inspired to finally get off my duff and track down the missing piece that was lost from that figure years ago.
Many years ago I let a friend barrow some toys for some photo shoot she was working on for art school. About two years after that I was at a party at her loft, and found a shopping bag with my toys piled in it. I had totally forgotten I had lent them to her, and she had totally failed to return them. Everything was in good condition, but Op Op was missing one armor panel.
Now he is COMPLETE AGAIN!
I absolutely love this big chunky ****!
Thanks for the push Bods! And for anyone looking for replacement parts, Transformerland.com is the place to be!
Until next time y'all! Get your Sunday before it's gone!
I found my TR Voyager OP to have loose hips that sink ships as well, until I clicked them all the way forward. Then they are tight as can be. If that is the issue click them all the way back for alt modes.
Totally a fun and goofy figure. I've been wondering about a Leo Prime head swap.
No rod is hotter than your rod. Discontinue use of irritation occurs and for rods staying hot for longer then four hours consult with your doctor
Cobotron wrote:You know, with the loose hips, clicking it in the first few times TOTALLY did the trick, but over time they have loosened up again.
Maybe ToyHax has a cure for that too.
Guess I have something to look forward too. OPs bot mode is rock solid and a lot of fun. The wings out looks great and I swear I meant to try that the last time I transformed him and just forgot. I just love the head sculpt and all the paint decos.
It really is a fun figure to transform and those stickers look great even though they give me the worries.
Rodders looks great all stickered up and speaking of toy hax, did ya see the weapon add on for Rumble or what those fools are calling Frenzy?

That was an awesome 22 minutes limited commercial episode of catching up with the Cobotron!
The toyhax looked pretty sweet. I really need a Primal in my life, and that Lio convoy gets me every time! I'll get that mold as Laser Prime in the boxset, only reason I probably haven't gotten it yet. It looks so amazing in package in the store
I'm looking for parts, Help Me Out Please! Wanna talk? Or Rollerblade? Click below and head on over to the D-Max Den!!
And thank you Cobo, for making me need those reprolabels to make my 'Rod hotter!
You know me. Always looking out for other's Rods!
Cary, I forgot to answer your question. Yes I saw the gun accessories for RUMBLE! I like 'em! They could only be cooler if they were chromed. They're tempting, but the Megatron set and the Ratchet set are a done deal for me.

Yeah, those extra part kits do have a very DIY vibe going on. That RID Ratchet set is the fire.
It sure is nice to have friends out there in this wide old world. Allies in the fight against collector's woes. And thanks to these allies, I received a pretty intense haul this week.
On Thor's Day, a nice little packaged showed up from the Dirty South Care of theOne! Cary reached out knowing the only figure I was interested in from the Chaos On Velocitron set was Laser P. His purchase hinged on my acceptance of the P. How could I possibly deny my bro the fun he craved?
Bask in this bastards badass beauty! The figure is awesome. Deco is top notch, the stickers, after a little help are in great shape, and his hips do not have the problems of my retail release.
Then on Frigga's Day, A package blew in on the North Wind from Willie Jammer. I had asked him to please grab some of these RID Weaponizers for me since they never made it to the States. At least not the one I live in. BLAMO! Look at all those lil guys! Will being the stud he is even threw in the little Tricerotops minicon that was hard to find from his own stash, and an extra PMOP gun from his PMOP fiasco. Also (not pictured) a Reprolabels set for MP Wheeljack.
BUT WAIT! That's not all.
He sent an email, asking If I wanted him to grab me any wave 4 guys since he still had his raincheck for TRU. My answer.... Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee-UP!
Oh man these guys are good. The Wifeotron is away at a conference so I'm pulling double duty looking after the Tronettes. Have not had a ton of time to dedicate to these guys, but they are looking real nice. I made it through Kup and Topspin, bot to alt and back again. My GOODNESS! Many things to say, and share. Both some of the best of the line. I opened Perceptor, but haven't transformed him yet. I just couldn't control my eyelids anymore. I know Billy is dying to hear my ops on these guys, so after I've had more time with them, I'll lay it down.
So thanks again Robros. I sure do appreciate your efforts, and know that if you need me, I got yer backs.

Holy cows, what a haul... I am especially jelly of those wave 4 deluxes!
It is awesome to have all kinds of guys and gals that can find and send you stuff like this. That G2 Prime does look pretty sweet and that is awesome that Cary and you managed to work that out perfectly

Aw dude you had me at the GG theme song. You know the biggest gift is from me
Did I tell ya we got a month of hulu just to watch the girls?
Laser is looking sharp in the Tron. I'm glad you like em, but I always knew you would. Glad I was able facilitate. you know I molested him up goodthats how you take enabling to the next level
I can't wait to find some wave 4, Kup and Topspin are on the top of my list. I'm still on the fence for Percy as I already have two variations.
Thats what I did, money well spent. ut wait till you find em in stores. It might take a while, but I am sure you will find em.
D-Maximus_Prime wrote:Holy cows, what a haul... I am especially jelly of those wave 4 deluxes!
I didnt know you were still looking for them too D-Max. I would have gotten them for you as well had I known. They are sold out for now though (then again, I did buy a whole case of em).
And yeah Cobo, looking foward to your thoughts on all this

I have not seen any wave 4 guys in stores yet, and we only got wave 3 a few weeks ago. Haven't gone amazon due to prices on all except Sky shadow, but I already have him and Brawn and Chase on pre-order from TFsource, and they don't even have the deluxes on pre-order and cancelled their Broadside pre-order. So the search continues.
But things will work out. Considering Barricade is the only figure from wave 1 of TLK that I really want, wave 4 can bleed over to that time and be fine, so long as I have them before TLK wave 2. Plus hopefully my TRU has the velocitron set soon.
Cobo's Laser Prime does look excellent. I just wish it was less gray in robot mode cause I love the red and black, but it still looks fine. I love the look of the truck mode though

So YAYEAH! The rest of the TR Wave 4 Deluxes. Let's dig in!
Perceptor
You know what? At first I wasn't that impressed with Big P, but the more I played with him and ran him through his modes, the more I liked him. Especially one mode in particular. He is the weakest of the these three, but still has a lot of fun packed in. His transformation is simple and not that unlike his G1 self.
Why so serious? Oh of course, SCIENCE! I really like the classic face plate on the OG figure, but this looks like a Microman wearing a helmet ,so ... works for me!
Sometimes I forget how big that old toy is.
The transformation joints in his legs make his legs work as legs kind of wonky. He's still nicely poseable, but his legs are fiddly. I think he's a better action figure than the RTS version. Easier to handle. Faster to get from mode to mode for quicker action. The rifle is nice, and the scope has some options for ports so you can mount it to taste.
My new lab is so, MEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
The Microscope is fun. The lens sort of magnifies a little. It's always been a silly alt mode in this context, but it will be fun to have a science station in a TR cityscape.
My favorite mode though The tank. It's awesome that they bothered to work this mode in. It's not in the instructions, but it works, and it's meant to be there. It makes so much sense for Titans Return. I've heard some problems about him tabbing together in either alt mode, but mine works well in both.
Slow rollin'. Ridin' high!
Speaking of forgetting, I've been reminded what a pain in the ass RTS Perceptor's transformation is.
This was hard to capture on a tiny jet black figure, but Convex's head is a cool little homage to the G1 head sculpt. Nice little detail.
And because I have them out.
Kup!
HA Ha! I love it! This alt mode is everything I want out of a Kruck!
Somebody is gonna have to remind me what the stink is on this guy. Is it the colors? Why? My M.O. is always toy accuracy, and this is it.
Y'all fellers wanna take a lil hay ride in m'truck?
Buckle up! It's gonna get bumpy! YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE HAW!
This reminds me of the time we got chased by Buffloids on the Great Circuit Plains of Nab-Rask 7!
Eat Yokohamas, ya slag breathed bottom feeder!
Kup's transformation is out of sight! It's cool to see this TF PRime level of panel forming again. The way his legs fold up is great. It all tabs together and holds tight. His mid section accordions up and tabs together solidly. It's the right level of moving parts, but fun and satisfying. There are some little tab tricks that seem like they could easily fail. Like using the pin holes his hands pivot on as peg holes when his arms fold behind him. It works though thanks to the presicion of C.A.D.
The double blasters are dope. These hand cannons have a cool sculpt.
Early shots of his face sculpt had me skeptical, but in hand I like it. Could have been a little grumpier, but that comes out in the attitude you put into him when you play.
Blasters as jetpack! HA!
I love my old Kup, and I've always enjoyed the Generations toy, but I think this TR toy is the Kupdate for me!
Topspin
Hi. My name is Topspin. I fly a spaceship. I know technically his name is Freezeout, but that's not how it works in my fantastic world of transforming mechanical spacemen.
This is the ship.
It's a really great ship. It's a Quasar Hopper T90. Not only is it really cool looking, but it's really fast too.
It also shoots at bad guys really good. Watch! Pew pew pew!
When I'm not skipping across astral anomalies and blasting Cons, I also spend time as the handsome head of this guy. Do you like my sunglasses?
Wow MAN! Another really great transformation into a really great bot mode. Dude is RIPPED! The G1 Jumpstarters always existed in my mind as smaller bots, but Team Warden had a different plan. He may be the BIGGEST Deluxe in the line. He a has a new-ish take on the CW leg design that is really well executed, and the way the ship kibble folds up on his back is slick. Makes for a neat backpack in bot mode. But wait til y'all get a load of his arm transformation. Really smart. Really cool. I've seen some reports in other places about how easily he comes apart at the mushroom peg waist joint. Well, mine does too. Probably gonna be wide spread thang. It's a tad disappointing, but not that big of a deal. Just something we'll have to except, or whine about it, boo hoo, all over the boards. I choose the former, because there's enough awesome about this toy to keep me from getting hung up on it.
Anyone else a fan of jet booster heeled boots? I am!
He's a dancin', dancin', danci-i-i-in'. He's a dancin' machi-i-i-ine
Hi! Topspin here again. You know, after a hard day of looking so good, I find the best way to relax is blasting Triggerhappy, right in the face.
... and punching him, right in the face.
Don't worry little Brother. You're update is next.
