I ended up with a headless Bumblebee 77 after using its head for the 08 Battle Mask head. What to do, what to do... make a Hot Rod!

After making my Camera Bot I needed to do something more than just sticking legs on stuff. I wanted them to actually look like mini robots! Then I thought, hmmm... scaled Real Gear figures? Could it be done? They don't transform but they are articulated.

I could see that Hot Rod as a trans am instead of camaro. Nice to see some homages from these movie molds.

your description says the head is from armada,but it looks more like energon to me.

reminds me of the hotrod from gijoe/transformers vol. 2 Crappy storyline but hotrod was pretty sweet.

that whole scene where the pimps car transformed into jazz had me laughing so hard my ribs were actually hurting me when i read that issue at the time it came out

i always figured jazz would look sweet turning into a pimpmobile.
