DotM Sentinel Prime vs. G1 Ultra Magnus.

The movie extras hint at Sentinel being based on Magnus (until his betrayal) and he is one of the toughest bots in the film. So can he defeat the ultimate tough guy from G1?

I think if Sentinel goes all out it would be a tough fight for Magnus.

I think the best thing Sentinal really had going for him was that no one expected him to end up a turncoat. Recent IDW Ultra Magnus is like, constantly looking for potential threats, so he might not be lulled into false confidence by a gracious-seeming Sentinal.
However, if we're exclusively talking cartoon, "I can't deal with that now" Magnus, I'll vote Sentinal. Magnus may have been a heavy hitter, but a few blasts from the Sweeps was once enough to do him in, and Sentinal's pretty handy with that sword, and if he uses that acid rust gun thing, there'll be a small pile of Magnus left over.

Sentinel Prime was going to kill off Skids & Mudflap in DotM but that got cut because S&M (hahaha) had a bad case of Jar Jar Binks.
