I got FOC Shockwave and Jazz a couple days ago and I was a bit disappointed with how cheap they felt. Anyone else feeling this?

bbts pol came with Henkei Ghost Starscream, along with some Prime Figures. Also picked up a Legends G2 Megatron,and a Classics Optimus/Megatron 2-pack (Generations Packaging)

In general, I'd say that everyone loves Shocky, most people like Optimus (except those who are bugged by the hollow forearms), and Jazz is the most hit-and-miss of the three.

Personally, I want Shockwave badly, I like the Optimus mold (but I'm holding off for the UM redeco/retool), and Jazz is an easy pass.

Picked up a FOC Jazz, passed up on the O.P. as he seemed tiny and of course the TRU I went to didn't have any shockwaves left :BANG_HEAD:

but then I swung over to Tj Maxx and found they had a generations Sergeant Kup and I noticed they had the Optimus prime and Megatron 'The Ultamite Battle' 2 pack so I grabbed them. Aesthetics on these toys (for me anyways) are nice in robot form, but in vehicle form seem cheap. Figures are super light weight and the arms snap off on Megatron fairly easy and OP's truck mode is as derpy and janky looking as they come. That's my 2 cents

I grabbed shockwave at TRU last week and like him for the most. He looks cool but he is definitely dinky and lighter/cheaper feeling than the pre-Prime generations figures. Im going to pass on OP as I have the previous FOC OP (along with BB, CJ, Megatron and Shockwave) but will probably end of getting Jazz.

TRU has 1 Shockwave, 4 or 5 Jazz, and like 12 OP so I will get them at my leisure. It sucks that even Target has jacked up there prices to TRU levels.

AMW-01, 02, 03, 04 and 06 arrived today.

(I skipped 05 on purpose, but might get him now, seeing how nice the others are)
Have only built AMW-04 and 06 so far, but they're both pretty awesome. ChainsawCat is great, if a little tight putting the back legs together. Also, Helicat mode can mess with the stickers. GreenGunGuy (aka ThreeG) is much easier, with less parts, but still more than they probably needed to put in. Nice little robot mode, and an awesome triple-barrelled blaster for my Gen Thunderwing to open up a can of Big Shutdown on people.

snagged the last shockwave at the Newington/Portsmouth New Hampshire toys r us tonight. Has anyone noticed that due to the way his weapon slots into his vehicle mode, Shockwave can be wielded by some voyager class figures? (I have him slotted in the arm mechtech socket on Night Ops Voyager Ratchet right now)

My FoC Shockwave finally came today, had to order online and had to pay over the odds for him due to no major toy stores or supermarkets stocking any FoC figures in the UK! Anyhow glad I go him great figure, great transformation however just a little too small.

Not always Hasbro's doing to be honest, saw a bunch of FoC Primes and Jazz on E-Bay going for about £15, yet Shocky started at over £23. The fact is sellers knew serious fans would be all over Shocky therfore up the price.
