Headmasters and something else?

I'm watching Headmasters Rebellion on Planet Beast. Has the cartoon used another toy from the late 80s? The beasts look like a toy that had three factions (fire, water, something else). They came in two packs and you didn't know what allegiance they were until you openned them and checked the rub sign.

Battle Beasts, AKA Beastformers were a sub-line of Transformers in Japan. So yes, they are based on the toys your remember

Wow, I had no idea they were related! I had Sawtooth Shark and Danger Dog. Damn they had some dumb names!
I've just finished watching that LAME episode. Galvatron: "dont' do anything stupid before I get there!"
