Ladyboy???

just wondering if anyone has managed to dig up some information on why Buster from Masterforce was blatantly drawn as a girl. i mean was there some miscommunication between artist and writer?? etc,etc..that sort of thing. any info other than what's written in wiki. cheers m'dears.

all i have its anime some anime characters have female names but are really guys.
