Hi. I have a 9 year old son who has been saving his money for quite a while now and has $400. I understand you can probably get more money for this toy through Ebay but would anyone out there consider taking a little over $400 for either a G1 Fortress Maximus or one of the re-issues from 2001 Brave Maximus? We're looking for MIB or super highly collectible one, just one that has most of the pieces, both heads, and not broken. I totally understand if not but I told my son I would at least ask. Both of my sons are hard-core Transformers fans and would love to have the BIG ONE. Thanks!
Tony

I think you could score a Brave Maximus for between $400 and $500 on eBay. However, a good condition Fort Max will probably run you close to $1000. I have a Brave Max, and I definitely recommend that one. Better color scheme and a lot cheaper. Fort Max is a necessity mostly for G1 fans only.

Thanks for the advice. That's actually what we ended up doing. The colors are better and we got a much better deal. My sons can barely sleep waiting!
