Brawl rocks. The way the tread linkage is hanging off the wheel on his legs looks kinda goofy though. Otherwise he is truly a masterpiece.
Lets think for a moment. You have a belt of metal plates as the treads for a tank. If the tank stops moving prior to transformation then its as simple as claps locking the treads in place prior to them separating and the tank transforming into the robot mode. In the reverse any system that allows for so many components internally to align properly is going to be able to a line the links prior to them being reconnecting and allowing the tank to continue moving on the treads. Considering that in the assembly lines the treads are put on by machines in the first place and that the treads can in fact be locked for transport its not really that far fetched a concept. It would require a very complex system of clamps and control systems to make it all work of course.
On the other hand considering how advanced Transformers are supposed to be having the treads be composed of carbon nano tubes would allow them to be turned into rigid lengths with a simple electric current and again separated, and then reconnected and reverted back to the loose linkage with another current. The tech is in its infancy now, but it exists at some small level.

It looks to me that Brawl is one Bad@ss kitbash that could TRAMPle everything in it's path. If the tracks fall off use them for weapons, really nasty weapons.

IMO it looks really cool! wish i could have skills like that... the chaintracks no much of a problem... but of course u can try to fix the tracks permanently, but mean it wont be movable... will have to put in 4 tiny wheels/rollers then...

is not said "that anything is possible"? With that said I still love it. That is just a basic model of a tank right? With the alt parts?. Drool
That would look great on anyones shelf.

Just looked at the pictures again and realized that is not the original sideswipe. WOW! Which alt did you use for him? I've got a diablo I was wanting to use, but it rides so low I don't know which alt to start with.

Wikkid !!!
(okay, spelling should be different, but what the heck
)
Brawl is really amazing. I wish I could do this, because I would love to have a tank alt/MP.
I'm so looking forward to rest of the group. I just know it's going to be bloody amazing for just the individual figures, but with a Bruticus

Awesome work! I see you have'nt found clear electonic dissapearing cat threads (This technology was were used on G1 Mirage toy back in the days)..
..Sarcasm..
. Well, I guess we should apreciate the great work that was done and use some of the imagination we have left to ignore them in robot mode*. The complex physical reality of transforming a detailed object into a humanoid shaped posable robot was done with complete success here.
*The kind of imagination that made G1 Devastator toy alot bigger than Jetfire...that made me believe he was Skyfire .....Dam Hasbro
