Holy thread necro!!! Okay, I finally got some pics taken and thought I'd post a few from this set. I wasn't really that interested in the Jazz conversion, but I definitely liked the guns. Here's some fun, then the thread can proceed on its way to oblivion.

Screamer's in his Coronation gear and I didn't feel like chasing the crown as it launches off... So, we get Skywarp. Then I wanted to do a few with Optimus, but what to do with Shockwave. I know! Grimlock loves him like the father he wish he never had!

Gooood Grimlock. Nice doggie! Well, voyager OP is too big next to FoC Grimlock. So, let's bring out Fugly OP to get a better scale. (Besides, Classics Voyager OP's hand is so big that the bottom of the stock won't fit. There's a joke in there involving Ariel somewhere...)

I might have to get the new Null Ray set for Skywarp so I can put Megs in his hands. Fugly OP just isn't going to cut it. He does best sitting on that hovercraft toilet bot from the Unicron trilogy Cybertron series. Shockwave is probably going to stay in one Grimlock mouth or the other...

Sorry to bump the thread, but had a question. Anyone know where the two stickers on the sheet between the spoiler and door stickers actually goes on the figure? I've stared at him for quite awhile and still have no clue.

Dang, I'd like to know the answer to this, too! Can't figure it out... searchin' the interwebs now, but I'm not feeling too confident if the question is still lingering on the Seiber-boards...
Yeah. I'd asked on their Facebook page too, but no response.

Why does that not surprise me?

Anyway, I love their Apex & Geminus set!

There are stickers?
(I bought for the weapons, so I'm not much help. When I get a chance, I'll check out the sticker sheet and see what I can see...)

I don't think the mystery is solvable. I wish you the best of luck, but don't be too discouraged if you get perplexed as well. I think it's going to be one of those things ya have to let go, rather than pull your hair out in frustration.
I'm planning to just paint the guy later, anyway, but the OCD side of me wanted to get the full value from the set and check how the stickers look on the figure. Overall, the stickers do such a half-assed job that you have to wonder why MechIdeas even bothered with the sheet.
But hey, that Megatron and Shockwave gun are kick-ass, aren't they?!

Re: Mech Ideas WS-01 upgrade kit
only bought the set for the guns. one of the guns from another third party (Dr Wu?) was going to set me back the same as these two, so I thought, "why not?" and was not disappointed. fun little pew pews.
assembling a Neo-G1/TF:TM cast. Please PM if you have (or know of) the following at a reasonable price: Classics or Henkei Astrotrain, Sunstreaker, Sideswipe, or 3rd Party iGear Ratchet and Ironhide.
Also looking for Universe Repugnus and Overbite, Frostbite and Longhorn and any Webdiver toys.
