So you're sorta saying do it like the MP line? Have them look G1, but have pistons, hinges, joints etc showing when they move around in robot mode? (sorry if that isn't what you mean, but I'm having trouble visualising what you mean by 'fleshy muscle over the joints'). Like in IDW?

I have never seen the stuff in IDW, but I think what he might mean by muscle-ly kind of stuff is it would be composed of tiny metallic fibers (or wires) that form some sort of flexible stretchy material that from far away look faintly reminisant of muscles. I think insects have something simular in a sense. The have the hard chitinous body shells but have a thin flexible chitin membrane (I think thats what it is) between thier joints that allows them to be able to move.
BTW, did you know scientists actually have made technoorganic muscles? They can only be made in tiny amounts because it is SO expensive to create them, but they work simular to a real flesh and blood muscle.

Aah, gotcha. Thanks, now I can picture it clearly. And it looks good with the G1 (at least in my head.) By IDW stuff, I just meant they have pistons, wires, etc showing in hinges instead of just blocks stcked together.
