Definitly getting Thunderwing hes a must for me and i cant wait to see what his drone looks like and how it connects to his vehicle and bot modes.
The other 2 maybe a pass on them.
i was hopeing for a few more cons coming out for the generations line but its all bots but thats cool

So... The Thunderwing backpack... Any chance of those wings and missiles becoming the 'wrap around' extra armor and arms as seen in Stormbringer? That would explain the rather huge backpack, and I would love that as a feature!

I'm so meta, even this acronym...

I dig Thunderwing a lot, but he's got kinda skinny legs. I hope that's not going to be a posability issue. Still like him though. And just a question: I just got Darkmount yesterday, and pictures are slow to load today, but is that a new head on Skullgrin, becuase I'm not sure.

Yes, that is a new head on Skullgrin.
Hasbro are now adding a second head to the molds of a lot of their newly designed figures, to facilitate the making of new characters using the same basic (recolored) body mold, but with a changed head!

Oh, thank you. I knew it was reported he was going to have a new head, for a while now, and like I said, the pics were loading real slow for me and I just got Darkmount and have him in tank mode, so I'm not sure I could tell off hand if it was a different head anyhow. Thanks for the info, and I am sorry for asking the same question that's already been asked. I know it has been. But thank a ton!

I'm not sure if I like Thunderwing or not. I'll have to see some more of him first. The original Thunderwing was one of the last G1's I got back in the day, along with Pretender Bumblebee and Bludgeon.

Love Skullgrin, but I think I'll pass on the other two. I'm not really a big fan of WFC figures, and Thunderwing is just too small.

Even in spite of already owning cybertronian bumblebee, CLIFFJUMPER IS A MUST!!!!! As I've said in the past, one can never own too many Nugget Vans. Skullgrin isn't all that appealing to me but Thunderwing IS......SO.......AWESOME!

Skullgrin is a total must for me. The other two I will pass on. I wish I had waited for Cliffjumper instead of buying BB. Oh well. Patience is something I lack.

Well, just as with any other line, Cliffjumper is a pass.
I am getting Straxus (Darkmount, whatever. I grew up on the comics, he's Straxus, period.) but I might get Skullgrin as well, just because I always thought he had an awesome color scheme. It's not pink or red, it's more like maroon mixed with a bit of purple, which goes great with the gray. And I have a thing for figures that have an axe for a weapon. Except maybe TFA Prime.
As for T-Wing, I am split. Pros: Next to Shockwave and Scorponok, he was my favorite comic Decepticon. I never had the original toy, and it's very very expensive online now. Cons: My first impression of this was not good. Way too top-heavy, it looks like, on noodle legs. And small. I do have RoTF Bludgeon, and have no real complaints, but Thunderwing was Bludgeon's boss in the comics, he should be bigger in size. Doesn't look like it.
I still need to get Cybertronian Megatron as well, looks like I am ordering it online, I am sick of waiting.

We saw pics in someones (maybe Peaugh) review of the WFC BB head on Classics BB, so it should.
If that's the case, I will be buying Cliffjumper for the head.
Same here.
Not a sheeple.
Think for yourself, don't let the magic TV box and social media do the thinking for you.
Question EVERYTHING!!
Just because you have a youtube review channel doesn't make you special.
I look forward to attending a Botcon soon only to settle matters with several idiots in person (yes this is a threat).

Windsweeper wrote:The abominable Stormbringer has a lot too answer for.
Not only did it dilute Thunderwing from the fantastic, Matrix-bearing villain he was in Marvel, they ruined Pretenders with their crossing of shell with inner bot mode.
Now Hasbro have gotten into the trend of shell/bot mixing. First the terrible Movie Bludgeon, now Skullgrin!
They look as naff as the Star Wars TF's.
I always liked Skullgrin's inner robot and alt mode. This reimagining looks nothing like either. I wish Hasbro would stop homaging old characters with molds that look nothing like them and then painting them with the old character's colour scheme, saying Ta Daaa!
Fans have been criticizing Bay for the alien heads on the TF's but a giant slaggin' skull on a robot tank is acceptable? C'mon!
On the plus side, Thunderwing looks great.
A robot hiding inside another sorta-robot is acceptable?
