Sky Reign is no where near as bad as FOC Bruticus in my opinion. Ok, the shoulders and hips are a bit loose but he's not overly hollow and he's far better proportioned. Plus he looks great and he's Sky Lynx, how can you not love Sky Lynx?
Sky Lynx was the biggest let down of Combiner Wars for me. He deserved a Leader Class figure that brought out all his own unique combining features and what we got was a small, hollow, flimsy and floppy abomination. I expect much better from Sky Lynx.
I agree that Combiner Wars Sky Lynx is not the Sky Lynx I wanted. I wasn't even that upset about his size, but I was quite let down that he lost his two separate beast modes in favour of being a Combiner torso.
That being said, the torso mode actually quite grew on me, and I rather like it for its own thing. I still want a proper updated Sky Lynx someday, but this is a good additional Sky Lynx and a decent place holder until then. And I know grimdragon2001 was complaining about his shoulders, but I actually think he has the best shoulders of any of the Combiner Wars torsos, because due to Sky Lynk's joints, Sky Reign's shoulders actually have a really cool additional point of articulation on which you can swing his shoulders forwards or backwards!
