Ordering from EHobby Base Shop

Postby Joetx » Wed Jul 31, 2013 12:10 pm

Apologies to the moderator(s) if this isn't the correct forum for this discussion.

I am considering ordering some TFs from EHobby. If anyone else out there has ordered merchandise from them, would you please answer the following questions:

1. Are they a reliable seller?

2. Since they're in Hong Kong while I'm in the U.S., what can I expect to be the shipping costs?

3. On their FAQ, there's a blurb about import duties, taxes, & charges are not included in the price or the shipping. What can I expect there?

Any other advice would be very much appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

1. I have never ordered from them personally but they are a site sponsor. I have heard good things though.

2. Depending on the size of the item/order and shipping method it can be quite expensive. I went to the site and added a FoC deluxe Skywarp to my cart and Air Parcel shipping was $13.00 and EMS was $23.00. Obviously larger items or multiple items will be more.

3. The U.S. doesn't charge import duties or taxes so no worries.
