Second try - Scorponok

Postby Tangent » Sat Aug 18, 2007 12:26 pm

This is my second go at a repaint, the first being Mini-Scorpy, and this one was obviously a lot harder, I tried to go for a more movie accurate look, but he ended up too dark. I’m still fairly pleased with him though, and I learnt alot while taking him apart and repainting him, oh, his claws still spin too! So, um, tell me what you think, and as always any advice would be ace!

Fecking awesome. I actually like the mildly gritty look.

SCORPYYY!!! Dude, that is awesome.
Life can be pretty sweet when your alt-mode is a B-2 Stealth Bomber.

And for those of you who are wondering... I'M A GIRL!

I'm not prejudiced; I hate everyone equally.

I agree with Burn, the darker tones actually make it more movie accurate because he looks more like armored steel, not silver. It looks perfect.

Yeah, looks like he's been playing in sand again.

I love the darker metallic look, the gold in particular is a nice contrast to the heavier metal colour!
Awesomesauce; Use it, you know you want to.
