I guess there's no "Other Toy Lines" forum. :-P

My girlfriend brought home her Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Tifa figure, and now I'm in extreme danger of becoming addicted to another toyline... First I want Cloud, then Sephiroth, then Vincent, etc, etc.

Anyone else collecting these things? Any sites with tons of information on them?

Soon they're coming out with original FFVII versions, including Cloud's 'Hardy Daytona' bike... dang, they look sweet. And apparently the FFX-2 girls are hard to find?

So, discussions, comments, complaints, collection pics, links, anything?

****, I planned on getting the Advent Children versions of Cloud and Sephiroth about a year ago, but bought a crapton of games instead.

Hah, well at $25 each for the domestic releases (which are just as good), they're not too bad, unless you want Cloud's motorcyle. That'll set you back quite a bit more.

I love the line as well. Though it does have a few issues.

I got both the Elric brothers, though my Ed got chewed up and my Alphonse's leg snapped after taking him out of the box, so he's a statue, but a still posable awesome statue.

The next I got, Auron from FFX, was a quality control mess. Both his leg and sword arm broke after slight movement, so now he's the same shap as Al, a kick ass statue.

However the next I got, Sora from KH2, had to be the best in the line so far. Perfect posebilty and a great sculpt. Had him since last november and no form of breakage whatsoever.

I'm definitely getting the FF7 figures when the come out, I was hoping square would release them (Though I kinda wish Barret would've been released as well). Hopefully all those QC issues are in the past.

Hmm, I'll have to keep that in mind, Auron was one of the ones I wanted. Which part of the arm broke exactly?

I've wanted FFVII figures ever since I first played the game way back when, I'm really looking forward to these.

And they're releasing Reno from AC as well, he's one of my faves.

well there great figures but they can break easily at times, ive bought my housemates, as xmas presents, the tifa and cloud w/ fenrir. tifa was fine but clouds leg snapped off after his was put on the bike and when we got it replaced the forearm came off.

this didnt stop him from buying the vincent and sephiroth ones though and he's had no problems since.

just wish id bought them for myself though.

Yeah, great figures, poseability and detailing is great. I got Cloud and Vincent, and they've been proudly displayed on my desk for years.

Never found the extra cash to get Sephiroth, and he was the one I wanted most...

His right forearm, the joint snapped right in half. I heard unfortunately that this problem is common.

Apparently the new figures were shown at SDCC, as well as the Square-Enix Party a few months ago.

I've got Advent Children Vincent and Tifa, and aside from Vincent's cloak limiting his arm movement I've had no problems. The posability on them is fantastic.
