T-Rex DNA Found! Chickens closest relative to T-Rex!
Pretty cool, maybe they can clone it. And I don't know the difference between a piece of Protein and DNA, so if the topic is misleading, oh well.

Not a sheeple.
Think for yourself, don't let the magic TV box and social media do the thinking for you.
Question EVERYTHING!!
Just because you have a youtube review channel doesn't make you special.
I look forward to attending a Botcon soon only to settle matters with several idiots in person (yes this is a threat).

Hence my original post where I stated "I don't know the difference between a piece of Protein and DNA".

Big deal... I have Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles book around here that stated the same over a decade ago. Donatello went on to befriend the small T-Rex created by Krang and Shedder by de-evolving a chicken. I believe the little Dinosaur even wore Donatello's mask as a scarf.

I'm glad that they may have found proof. This was hinted at and theorized back when Jurassic Park was written. Which means it was theorized prior to that.
For years, whenever someone asks, "Which came first, the chicken or the egg?" I always answered "The Egg". Something that was no longer a dinosaur and not quite a chicken laid and egg. A chicken hatched. Hence the egg came first.
This was actually brought up in an evolution discussion that we had months before the crash that lost everything. It's cool that they found more conclusive evidence. Given enough time, who knows what else they may find?!?
Cyberstrike says,
The same reason that they have cloned about everything else, because they can! The only thing that is stopping cloning a human is morals...and believe me that won't last long...actually I think some scientist in South East Asia has stated that he plans to clone a human...not sure though.
So, back on point. It's about the glory to be the first to do something.

Yay for dinosaurs. I don't really have much else to add, except that the carnivorous ones scare the crap out of me as enemies in video games and movies.
Heh. Y'know, some kind of murderbird would've been pretty cool.

Certain breeds are actually quite intelligent.
But then it depends on what people define as stupid. Frankly I think some of my chooks down the back are far more intelligent than some people on the internet.

Okay, just jumped the language barrier there.
What does that mean?

Chooks = chickens
down the back = the backyard (house - bit of a yard - chookhouse, hence "down the back")

You have chickens? You never stop being strange Burn.

Well, they've got the great sense of smell, but I don't they'd fair well vs RPGs or IEDs.
Still, we've got Dolphins and Sea Lions on the pay roll, I could see it, though as much for PR as anything.

We've had plenty of animals over the years, chooks, guinea foul, turkeys, goats, turtles, cats, dogs, guinea pigs, peachfaces, budgies, cockatoo, galah, cockateils, horses and cows in the paddock over the road and the regular visits from snakes.
