I was wondering (let's not try to take advantage) I have a friend who has the Takara Dinobots. He tried to give them away, but I stopped him. The dates are early eighties and they are in very good condition.(according to me, but I do not know how to grade them) Who could I send pictures to and how should the pictures be taken? What do collector's want to see in the photos etc...? I will definitely under sell for their true value and I have been doing research on the subject. The one is rare (swoop)(I think, according to what I've read) Any suggestions?

If you're being real and not sarcastic with that comment, this has to be one of the funniest misunderstandings.

Yes, I was being serious. Now I guess I misinterpreted the word "con"? I thought it meant that I was trying to con someone.

Nope. Most forums have ranks for people based on post count. This one uses Transformers themed ranks. Mini-con is the one for people that have the lowest post counts. Of course post count is irrelevant to how much you contribute to the forum. And anyone that thinks otherwise needs to go outside for a bit.

Anyway to answer your original question collectors will want to see the toy(s) in it's robot mode, alternate mode, and any accessories it came with. Also some collectors will ask you to take pictures of certain parts of the toys. The reason is that some toys might be known to have a common flaw. Swoop for example has an easily broken beak. So collector's would want to see close ups of his head in dino mode and in robot mode to see if it's been broken, has stress marks, etc.

It's best to assume every link I post is NSFW, and every post I make is just me taking the piss.
