So what did I miss with the manga after seeing the Octone one?

When I come back I find Transformers Comics have gone off the rails both East & West now.

When I saw The wee robo lassie in a Skimmpy Bikini I was like Whaaat ?
They I saw what seemed to be someone making a cheesecake photoshoot (for gosh alone knows what reason) - I'm like er 'Kay

Is everything alright at home with the Artist - I wonder... Is he having relationship troubles. - They could have done that same idea a hell of a lot more tastefully than getting all up in the ladies skidplate like that.

Octane's comic has finally been summarized. Oh... goody.

In the year 2022 of the G1 World, crazed stalker Lunaclub catches up to her beloved Starscream and cuts his head off, and while she's surprised that he survives thanks to his half-ghost form, she doesn't mind since it means she can kiss him all she wants. Starscream cares little for her affection and more about going to the Legends World so he can become a Headmaster and regain his mobility, a plan that catches the interest of Moonheart, who harbors her own feelings for Soundwave and wants to go see him.

Meanwhile in the Legends World, known pervert Tigatron has a found a kindred spirit in the Headmaster Octane, and the two make plans to seek out pretty ladies, hire them to appear in sexy videos, and get rich. The mention of profit attracts Trickdiamond, who offers to be the manager of their budding business, but instead she gets dragged into modeling for their first video. It becomes is a huge success and the three make enough money for Octane to buy a transtector, only for a ride on its jet mode to be interrupted by an attack from Lunaclub and Moonheart, followed by Starscream materializing inside the plane in a ghostly Headmaster form. Intending to destroy Mayor Megatron and become ruler of the Legends World, he takes control of the transtector and crushes Megatron's Tankor Drone guards with its truck mode before transforming into robot mode and grabbing his old leader.

However, Octane has installed a safety device to prevent his body from being stolen and presses a switch on its stomach that causes it to stun and eject Starscream. He reclaims the body, and when Lunaclub and Moonheart take him on, he defeats them both with a flamethrower blast, announcing that he won't let conflict disturb this peaceful world where he can make videos of pretty girls. Moonheart flees to go search for Soundwave while Starscream, true to form, crawls up to Megatron and begs for forgiveness, and is punished with having to appear in one of Octane's videos together with Lunaclub. Trickdiamond is relieved she doesn't have to do it anymore, but the new video doesn't sell at all and they end up using her as a model a second time.

That's something that could apply from the first comic. Sikomofo could have given "fan service" in a more competent way as to be welcoming to both fans of "hentai/lolicon" and those who were indifferent/against it. The same theme or "joke" seems to be repeated in almost every issue, too.

Every minor thing is extrapolated to the extreme in the Legends World it seems... one simple seemingly random event is turned into a character's definition there.

As much as I wish the whole figure was going to be Nijika, nope, it's just gonna be Windblade herself. The headless Nijika body in Perceptor's comic was colored like the Hasbro TR Windblade, which could mean that the Legends Headmaster Windblade body might be a separate Transtector from that of her sister.

This is a conundrum for new. Throwing away the instructions jarrs with my desire to conserve and collect all of the packaging against my distaste for some of the materials contained within it. It's akin to the Nazis burning bills or the (Taliban?) destroying museum it historical artifacts in their own territories.

In this context, I wish Takara had done the opposite and released family-friendly comics with the toys and released the more adult versions online (possibly behind an access or download code). That would at least keep my conflicting feelings about the toys and packaging at bay.

I once met a girl in Japan that, for (Halloween?) wore a gothic lolita outfit. The short-ish skirt and paraphnaelia was actually many, many layers of clothing (more so than normal clothing) and almost everything was covered up (it was very hot-temperatured getup according to her). She still looked "sekusi-kawaii" (or whatever the term is). Less is more?

Incidentally, how is Octane with the cab section tabbing together correctly? I have a Hasbro version and the cab doesn't like to close and from what I read, this was a common problem on many Octanes. I was actually thinking of buying a second one out of the hopes I have better luck the second time.

I do have every version of the mold before with Optimus, G2 Optimus, Nemesis and after Octane the Ryu one. (Unless Octane has different wings I should be fine)

I have never used the instructions unless it's too confusing I like the first time challenge with the first few transformations.

I don't think I'm going to throw it out or anything it just feels wrong to throw out things to me, I'll just keep it in the box though. (I can't even throw out the boxes of my Transformers figures which makes a quarter of my room a little messy but I've always kept my instruction manuals, from Bionicle to Transformers to video game consoles.

That's true. Mind you, there were those slightyly risque full page illustrations on the backs of some of the booklets, such as Baldigus's one at the onsen...

The logistics of octane's manga brings some interesting questions. Like are starscream, Lunaclub and trickdiamond the foremost Transformers AV idols? Are tigatron and octane paying them? I feel like not getting payed is the worst part of this. All of this being a joke.
