You know, these guys are growing on me. Not a fan of the Energon versions, but these for some reason are looking nice. Damn marketing!

I sort of like it but why are their two of the same figure in the set? Just different colours? How lame is that?

All of the Energon combiner teams only had 3 molds with two repaints.

Extremely lame. It'd be nice if they had them all different vehicles, it's the same for Superion Maximus and Bruticus Maximus. IMHO Hasbro/Takara needs to get off their asses and start making some new molds. I for one am tired of seeing reapints, it's ok for the Seekers but that's about it.

That's the way it was in Energon. Each of the 3 combiners had a Central piece, and then 2 sets of limbs. Each with its own color scheme.
Also we've known about this set for a while. Its apparently out now in stores.

This is a Wal-mart exclusive correct? Does it have an official street date yet?

WHO HAD THE ORIGINAL, IS IT A GOOD TOY? I'M ON THE FENCE ABOUT THIS GUY DON'T DIG THE ARM AND LEG THE CRANE GUYS MAKE.
STILL IF THE MERGE FORM HAS DECENT POSEABILITY I'LL PROBABLY GET EM. I'VE OPENED ALL MY CLASSICS AFTER LEAVING BOXES OF OTHER LINES UNOPENED I LOVE THIS LINE. DO THE ENERGON MOLDS FIT IN WELL W/ THE CLASSICS?

Please don't write in all Caps. it signifies you screaming, and can be very annoying.
As for the Mold.
Its a Decent Toy. When combined he has Knee Ratchet joins that are pretty stiff,
and the waist joints can hold the weight fairly well.
It can be posed in some decent action poses.
The Arms need to be pushed in for the tight fit, and they don't fall off.
The crane limbs if used as arms can be set to have elbow joints (sort of),
unlike the shovel limbs which look rather stiff.
The Energon weapons are another matter altogether.
They make the feet and claws, and have a habit of falling off.
But its not a bad toy.
I would not exactly fit it in with the Classics though, but i guess it works.
The individual molds are good enough to warrant a purchase by themselves.

I've never understood that. I think it's probably because I've been reading comic books for more than half my life and they're all written in caps. What I find extremely annoying is bad grammar.
Oh, and just to make this topic related, THAT DEVASTATOR IS CRAP.
