I feel pretty confident in thinking that Blastwave's toy was designed and made before his cartoon model was, meaning the animators just saved money by not changing Megatronus's cartoon model into Blastwave's as much as Hasbro changed Megatronus's toy into Blastwave's and Bludgeon's toys.

Similarly, the whole Beast Hunters thing for TF: Prime was toy-first since Hasbro sprung it on the show makers at the 11th hour and forced them to put Predaking and Optimus's new body into the show.

This is interesting. Since I thought all of the Predacons would be in the series only Predaking showed up.

When I saw the season I thought it was strange.

At least for this Cyberverse line I hope they complete the standard Seeker Trio, they're almost there. And then I hope they also release Slipstream as a Warrior. Then I'm fine. Overall not that invested in this toyline.
But I do love my Big classic Ultra sized Megatron.
Will be getting the Optimus eventough I don't really like his face that much as well as his front lights being on his hands.

Any of you know if Takara is going to pick this up and remold some things?
I heard a while ago that Takara is doing the exact Hasbro stuff and will not be doing their own repaint / remold versions anymore for some reason.

To be fair, Ultimate Optimus Prime didn't need a weapon when he has the megasmasher-I mean...his Matrix burst power. That would hurt a lot getting hit by it

The simple fact is this. NO ONE is above the rules of this site. I acknowledge that we're all human, we all have bad days, or maybe a person is just a straight up a-hole (something I won't deny about myself) but that doesn't excuse them from being a dick to another member, regardless of whether they're staff, a newbie, a veteran or whatever **** up label has been created this week. If I see it, I will pull them up in public, not to embarrass them, but to make sure other people see that staff are taking action.

Just to make sure, the Ultra are the "voyagers" and the Ultimates are the Leaders. So will only Optimus and Megatron be "leaders" or will there be other characters that will receive the best treatment in this line? Because Ultra Grimlock sure is decent enough, I would really love to see what a Cyberverse Ultra Grimlock would be like.

Also, Shockwave. Ultra Shockwave seem nice but a "leader" Cyberverse Shockwave would be rad.

I still think warrior Shockwave is the best. Those leaders just have such limited articulation. I would not need more detail, or more complexity for what they are, but I would need some elbows (and bicep and thigh swivels would be great). I do like their price point though and their plastic and build reminds me of the Cybertron line, in a good way.

Fall of Cybertron bloody Grimlock.
His plastic feels exactly like that butter pack plastic margarine container.
His chest is completely hollow, his shoulders are on tiny little flimsy joints.
His design is okay (tail's a bit big) but oh my gods is he cheap.
And then there's Fall of Cybertron Jazz.

The Netherlands (for anyone who cares, can't see a reason why any american should) prices:
Megatron / Optimus Prime Ultimate = 40 euro's (45,80 dollars)
Deluxe/Warriors = 20 euro's (22,90 dollars)

For us here in nowhere land, it's a good price. Seen as voyagers costs 42 euro's and Leaders are...

80 euro's. 91,60 dollars is thé cost of The Last Knight Leader class repaint Optimus Prime.
That's insane, and I don't even like that figure.

I like the ultimates as agreed by a lot of people. I like Hasbro bringing back the heftyness.
But I think it's more like Energon.

I have my Energon Ironhide on the wartable and man. It's a Tonka truck with horrible head placement. But that was a solid Transformer. And I had Generations Jetfire next to it, great dissapointment.
I even got the 3 seekers remolds. Even greater dissapointment. That Walgreens Cyber Battallion Jetfire is in my opinion way better (cockpit = chest, no fakery nonsense). Anyway offtopic.

I just found cyberverse at meijer in Indiana. The leader bots are only 30 and look pretty good but I passed for now as I'm out looking for studio series lockdown and megatron. They did have one shockwave. He looks really cool although smaller than a standard deluxe.

English video reviews for Cyberverse (2018) Scout Class Optimus Prime, Scout Class Windblade, Scout Class Slipstream (redeco of Scout Class Starscream), Warrior Class Windblade, and Ultra Class Shadow Striker have all been released on chefatron's Youtube channel! These are the first reviews of these toys, so we can finally see their Action Attack in full detail! We get to see the first toys of Windblade, Shadow Striker, and Slipstream (possibly only for the last two). It looks like they were bought from his local Toy Kingdom in Menila.

Honestly I had considered getting this Ultra Class Shadow Striker because the Decepticons can always use more female Cons added to their ranks. Unfortunately she's apparently sporting her "battle mask" as her face isn't like her face on the packaging. But not only that, no knee and/or elbow articulation. I realize this line is geared more for younger fans, hence the lack of articulation in all of the figures, but a bit of knee/elbow articulation could've really helped this figure, especially considering its size.

I guess I'll have to hunt down a Prime Vehicon and give it a new head sculpt and a few paint apps to enlist as my CHUG Deluxe Shadow Striker.

***Update: I just purchased a NEW Prime Deluxe Vehicon online on ebay for $15.00 + $8.00 shipping. Not a bad deal considering. Now to go through all the Titans Return Titan Masters faces to see which one I can alter just enough to make it look as close to Cyberverse 2018 Shadow Striker's face. Then I'll soon have my very own fully articulated Deluxe Class Shadow Striker to add to the Decepticon ranks of my CHUG collection.

hmmm, the Windblades actually fared better than the seekers.. and the warrior one actually doesn't look too shabby (in the context of this line) and i even considering buying the scout one, granted, gonna need a lot of black paint to add details.
