In the U.S., no brick-and-mortar mass retailer ever carried the Devastator giftset at all. I only ever got to see the set in person at conventions.

I had to get my SS69 Devastator from elsewhere without the discounted price I wanted but at least I got Earthrise Scorponok for way cheaper at the same time in 2022.

Wonder how much Megatron will cost this time.

As for Devastator, I kinda hope Takara gives it the nice paint brush up. Not likely, but I can hope, it's the only reason I didn't get SS69, I had the retail releases and there was minimal reason to double dip

Never cared for the "cartoon accurate" direction they went for the Masterpiece line. Makes the figures look way too basic especially for that price tag. Let me know when the original MP Starscream mold is going to get re-issued. I would love a second chance to get that version of Thundercracker. (With all QC issues fixed of course!)

It is unclear which of these will be exclusive reissues through takara tomy mall and which will be non exclusive, and available readily on Amazon Japan and other Japanese retailers.

I transformed Megatron once, it is really complicated and not fun to do, that's besides the paint-scraping issues. I never added the stock and silencer since I heard that people were shearing the barrel off because of the way the silencer connects.
