Plus, with more and more children showing up on the threads (sorry, if your under 25, I now consider you a child), I'm starting to feel like the creepy old man, trying to hang on to his youth.

If you like Headmasters and want to see perfect G1 homages to them, then I recomend you keep a lookout. Hasbro is going to be giving 3p a run for its money, wait and see.

No, they won't. Not in my opinion anyway. Takara can with the masterpiece line, but as Hasbro only sporadically puts out MPs, they will never hold a candle to what 3rd party offers the adult collector. Thats fine, even if I don't like it, I understand why they make it as broad appealing as possible, but the cheap quality and visibly hollow parts have just about ruined Hasbro/Takara main line figures for me.
Take Leader Class Ultra Magnus. One of the most awesome
looking figures we've gotten in several years. I stress looking. In hand, he is cheap and flimsy. The hollowed arms stand out like big blinking neon signs. I'm so disgusted with what was my most looked forward to figure of the year, that I just about want to put it on the target stump where Motormaster met its demise.
Everything I've seen of the Titans line just seems to be more of the same. Awsome looking figures? Yeah, they are, but with so many cost cutting flaws, the awsome is drowned in a sea of **** soup. Yeah, I think I'm done. I might add a random figure here or there to the box of transformers I'm keeping for when my boys are older, but no more Hasbro product for me. I'm much happier and satisfied by a $100 3rd party deluxe than a $45 Hasbro leader.
