Transformers Wii bonus features

Postby Bigchin » Fri Sep 07, 2007 4:27 pm

A question for those of you who know what you're doing with stuff like this.

So I'm working my way through the Wii version of the Transformers game (and by working my way through I mean swearing a lot as I fail time and again to get past the Scorponok level). This is the first new game I've played since about 1990, so I'm getting used to the entire experience and not just the game itself. In other words, feel free to talk to me like I'm an idiot.

Now then. As I was stomping through the Blackout level I collected all the things you're supposed to collect, and a box popped up telling me to go to bonus features and pick up my little treats. Whee! Except when I do that, there's nothing there. All blank. Now is this because I come out of the level and check bonus features?

Long story short: How the heck do I get me bonus features?

Don't feel bad. I've been playing video games off and on for years now and TransFormers: The Game gave me all kinds of trouble. Some of it's the user interface. The Wii remote and nunchuck are great devices when working properly, but when they fail...ooh. I never did get past the Bumblebee/Megatron/Hoover Dam level. I tried it so many times I lost count. I also couldn't get Blackout to beat Ironhide, no matter how low I got 'hide's life meter. Near the end, it's one difficult game. The camera doesn't help matters either.

I've got all the bonuses except one. I've finished with Autobots. But Decepticons..............

I just can't beat Ironhide when playing as Blackout. The drones get me everytime, those buggers with the spinning cranes that yuou have to throw things at, while dodging the ones that charge you. Grrrrrr.

So alas, no G1 Megatron yet.

On that note, has anyone actually been able to get the button-command cheats to work? You know the ones that give you G1 Starscream and Jazz? I have tried for ages but to no avail. Am I doing it on the wrong screen? Using the wrong directional button?

These are the codes I speak of:
