What is the nerdiest thing about collecting transformers?

There is more to Transformers than movies, cartoons, comics and toys. Discuss anything else Transformers here.

I do dust mine, just the loose figures which is quite a few but not the ones' in boxes except if I were to move to a new place...I only dust them every 3-6 months or so besides it makes them look better to me when there isn't 3 inches of dust and cobwebs on each figure and when fellow TF fans come over they are even more impressed with my collection.

:P

well i dont find manny tf fans around here so there's no danger of them coming to visit lol. However, i do have 1 friend who collects the figures, he's 26 and when he's had his lil 'play' lol he puts the back in the box and reattaches all the ties and lil rubber band things, balls to that, i throw my box's (unless they are G1)

I just pulled out a TON of the newer boxes out of the closet and they are heading for the recycling pile by the end of today, they just are not made to be kept, collected or stay together after they are opened as there is too much of that clear plastic in them...it makes it great to see what you are buying but they are pretty much worthless after they are opened.

oh!

i know!

i spend thousands of man hours compiling information about transformers

for my personal use only

creating charts
graphs
lists
profiles

just to rename every transformer i get into a replacement for the Generation 1 bots that should have been mine and should have been this cool.

was that clear?

soooo tired. =P~
