Back when Hasbro's TR Kup came out, I was positive that someone would come along and make a replacement for it on Shapeways, closer to the face that Takara used. When I didn't see anything, I tried requesting one on the forums, and all I got was people offering to make whatever I wanted for like $100. And I was like, "no, all I want is like a $10 replacement face." I tried pinging some of the people who make replacement faces, and only one got back to me, saying he would get around to it, but that still hasn't happened. Anyone know a surefire way to get something like this requested? I hate looking at Hasbro Kup's face. Thanks for your help.

That's the base of trading. Things are cheaper when they go in mass volumes.
A specific command for one person will include the time and such. 100$ is normal for a special one-shot command.
You'll not find somebody who will design a head for 10$.

Eventually, find 100 other persons interested and you may get the price you want.
