I totally agree. It started in the movie and continued through season 3. Wheelie and Blurr were bad too. Also add Ironhide from Energion to the list.

That's a really good point, the pre-movie Dinobots were awesome, the movie and beyond Dinobots were useless and irritating. On that note I found a lot of the post-movie characterizations pretty bad.

Runner up is Rodimus Prime for being a whiny baby and generally an unworthy leader.

Maybe you should read our posts more. We were discussing Animated Wreck-Gar who was voiced by Weird Al. G1 Wreck-Gar in TF:TM was Eric Idle.

Yep,they ALL have...shall we say, "quirks"?, but my vote is for G1 Gears! If he can't complain about something, he'll make up something to complain about! I HATE that!

Skyfire was also annoying. For someone as huge as he was, he took shots like a lil school girl. One shot is all it takes.


Also another one to toss in is Elita-1. She really hammed it up during her one episode.

What annoyed me the most, was Inferno, from Beast Wars. Giant Ant, calling Megatron "His Queen", and Laughing Maniacly, untill punched in the head.LOL.

Rattrap from Beast Wars also irksome. Man, he made it really hard to like Maximals. They're supposed to be the 'good' guys but he whines and heaps abuse on poor Dinobot who was ten times the bot Rattrap would ever be.

In TFA Sentinel Prime is irritating, but he's supposed to be that way, so I don't think he counts. I think we're going for unintentionally annoying. Which would have to be, for my vote, Blitzwing. If he weren't such a great pairing with Lugnut (who really grows on me), I'd fantasize about packing his spark chamber with a little C4 and Texas Pete.

wow. way to read my mind hk. i couldn't agree with you more on the bw/bm thing. i actually like the lugnut/blitzwing combo too. i don't think either one would work on their own

hands down Wheelie wins for most annoying

2nd most annoying is a tie between Seaspray's voice and Warpath's "BANG, BLAMO ZOWWEEE!"

TFA's Blitzwing Triple Personality was suppose to be Cool, instead it ended up beeing annoying. But Lugnut and Blitzwing Combo was good.Out of that series, I think Sari is annoying.

Whilst Bumblebee was a good character in the G1 series, in the movie he was just annoying.
Possibly my biggest gripe with this guy is that he took up waaaaayy too much of the spotlight whilst leaving some possibly interesting characters (AKA. Prime, Blackout, Brawl, Starscream and Megatron) stuck in his shadow.

It's hard to pick just one. I've narrowed it down to these candidates:

Blackarachnia (BW)
Cyclonus/Snowcat (Armada/Energon)
Galvatron (G1)
Grimlock (G1)
Ironhide (Energon)
Silverbolt (BW)
Starscream (G1)
Warpath (G1)
Wheelie (G1)
Kid-appeal characters (G1 BB, Cheetor, Hot Shot, Movie BB, Animated BB, etc.)

If I had to pick just one, I would go with BW Silverbolt. I often find myself pressing the mute button whenever he speaks, and I flat out refuse to ever watch "Crossing the Rubicon" again (too much Silverbolt and Blackarachnia).

A close runner-up would be G1 Starscream. I really don't understand how this guy could have had such an enduring and celebrated legacy; he's annoying in almost every way possible.

I loved Rattrap. He was one of my favorites. I liked that he would complain and pick fights with dinobot, despite Dinobot being 10 bigger than he is. I mean one of the reasons I critisize G1 so much cause 99% of the Autobots were these perfect little angels, willing do die for their cause and so on.....Rattrap's the type who's all fight a good fight.....blast the other guy, kick 'em while they are down, and then get the hell out of their to avoid being diced in crossfire. He's pretty smart, ol' Rattrap.

Rattrap would pretty much say, "Don't die for your cause, make the guy you're fighting die for his/hers!"

And Inferno cracked me up, we need to see some more kamakaze type TF's like him.


Anyhow, back to annoying TF's......
I don't know if I mention this before, but Fortress Maximus was very annoying....in comic and cartoon form.

Cartoon: A lifeless automatan who pretty much had the personality of a sponge, Scorponok pretty much as well.
Comics: Pretty brilliant, rip off your own head and surrender it....and his teamates.....I am sure they were thrilled at that idea, and having some humanoid living in their heads later on.
Plus the toy was overated....and expensive, even more now.


RID Towline: Did he even serve a purpose? Plus that voice was horrible. He's the only RID character I don't like, apart from Fort Max.

Every human ever to be in the franchise oh wait you said TF, ok Animated Bumblebee then.
