Seibertron.com is a Transformers fansite. It is not a fansite about 3rd party products. I do NOT care for 3rd party products. I am TIRED of seeing the stuff here on this site. That's all it comes down to.

yeah. i like G2 and all, but i doubt id bite on this. only way i would is if all my other 3P combiners were released in G2 colors as well, and i dont see that happening.megatronus wrote:Pretty cool, but not my cup of tea. I'm not huge into G2, so I wouldn't get this if FP did it. Especially since there's a more than likely possibility that we'll see Hasbro do it in the future.

IF this were real, what would it mean for the TFcon exclusive breakdown? hed have to be given a general release.

youre right, but im picky. im not a fan of MT's giant, and an FOC combiner doesnt belong with my classics combiners.Rated X wrote:I cant speak for the Autobot ranks, but as far as the Decepticons go the G2 combiners are 2/3 complete.
ahhh k. that makes a lot of sense.Yotsuyasan wrote:I don't have a source for this, but I could swear that I've heard that the difference would be in the packaging. The convention exclusive version came carded, on a card nicely styled to homage G2 packaging design. Where as I think they said that a mass retail version would be boxed. (Not sure if they meant individually boxed, like with the original release, or "boxed" as in a boxed set of all five.)

ive actually been waffling back and forth on the FOC toys. do i want to full FOC disaply or just call those figures the "cybertronian" versions of those characters for my classics display? i think ive landed on having an FOC display because well, theres enough of them to accommodate them having their own space.Rated X wrote:In my world the WFC/FOC continuity doesn't exist. I repurpose the figures as "ancient Cybertronian". After all, the Combaticons were "renegade decepticons". I kind of like having this mold as the G2 version. It's like Bruticus got an upgrade from the WWII vehicles.

hypothetical: lets just say hasbro makes cybertronian versions of other combiners, youll be awfully sore that you ditched your FOC bruticus. and even though im not going to MBC route myself, it is seriously badass and will make an amazing bruticus.megatronus wrote:I've been similarly waffling, but am leaning towards Classics integration. Especially if Hasbro comes out with a Bruticus for Combiner Wars, I may end up selling my Platinum + MBC (where is MBC Onslaught anyway? Jeez!!!), at which point, well... what's the point?
