Someone please point me in the direction of where to get one of those with armor so I can make my own!!!

I know NOTHING about Macross and I have no Idea what to look for... :oops:

I think I saw this custom on the Macross World forum.( http://www.macrossworld.com/ ) It is a Yamato 1/48 VF-1A, and if I remember correctly, It has a reproduction head and gundam hands, and obviously the excellent paintjob. The 1/48s are excellent, though expensive. Right now they are approximately $120-$150 depending on where you get it. Big Bad Toy Store ( http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/ ) and Hobby Link Japan ( http://www.hlj.com/ ) carry them.There are three types, the VF-1A, the VF-1J and the VF-1S. The only difference betwen types is the color and head. The S type head is the one shown here. Most import stores that carry Binaltech usually have the Yamato Valkyries as well. The FAST pack is sold seperately, and is $100 or so, and they just released a second armor set, the GBP armor in December.
