Just got ROTF: Brawn...
He is the Slag that killed Elvis.
He is a bit fiddly with the body panels but damn does he look
serious. I especially dig his Steel Brigade noggin:

To me easthetically the weakest point on the etire figure is
the top mounted machine gun ad it is still pretty 'effing
sweet'.
Even my wife likes the toy and that is saying a lot.

Yeah, he looks great. I pose him rushing at the 'cons screaming "YOU HAVE FORGOTTEN THE FACES OF YOUR FATHERS!"
Unfortunately, he seems to be made of worse quality plastic than every other NEST Alliance figure I have.

Yeah, and extra joint to reposition the support for the top gun would've helped. The double guns help overlook this flaw.

I've never really been a huge fan of Brawn, but this version of him does look, dare I say, "badass"? If I found one, I'd probably pick it up without a second thought.

There is no question that I will be a sucker and buy him. But he isn't my fave by any stretch of the imagination.

I bought 2 last night, to form a NEST squad (right now they're getting a ride from G1 Ultra magnus, they fit perfectly). He is quite awesome. The giant body panels hang over his back like wings, which is kind of a turn off. I consider them armor; I modded them to fold in a little tighter, can't say it helps much.
He has great articulation, but I wish his elbows would swivel. The double-guns are cool, but they lack any detail. He needs some paint apps, some black on the tubular guards would look nice. Very cool fig all around.

Re: Just got ROTF: Brawn...
For the record I am not being critical of HHR. I think the
opinions Ihave qupted have just as much merit as mine.
I post this because usually when people use segmented quotes
it is usually interpreted as being argumentative. I assure
you that is not my wishes.
The original Brawn mini-car had wing like parts on his
shoulders so the ones on his arms don't bug me much.
But I dare say he has about two pairs more shell panels/armor
than he needs. It hinders the toy a bit in my opinion as
well.
His aticulation is almost (I said almost) too plentyful
in his legs they are very easy to knock out of ballance.
I am very pleased with the marvel legends level poseability
in a transformer. Mindwipe as an example is much the same.
He has bicep swivels up near the shoulder joints.
One of the things I dig about him is that his hips and
shoulders have the same style of ball-joint with swivel
design. I'm a big fan of internal cosistancy.
The pistols could use some silver or red barrel tips to add
some "POP" maybe but in my opinion not much more than that.
This we totally do not agree on.
I couldn't agree more.

You guys have to hook your Brawns up with more firepower by having him beat RECON IRONHIDE to a pulp and steal his weapons which can all be attached to all those wonderful roll bars, he has hanging all over him.
BRAWN ranks among my top 3 favorite ROTF figures. He, Bludgeon, and Mindwipe have managed to keep me interested in Transformers. I love the fact that HASBRO through in cool melee and other weaponry with these 3 in particular, but they also have poseable bot modes, and cool, accurate alt modes.
Brawn is indeed fantastic. And when he has used up his ammo he can pound anyone with his indestructible fists (hopefully his arms and wrists can support the pounding his fists give), but yeah he is awesome. ALT MODE is even phenomenal!!!!
Many, many, many thumbs up!!!!

I to couldn't wait for Brawn until he made his appearance one day in Target. So i grabbed him and rushed home to open him and perform the transformation!! and to my sudden surprise and disappointment at the same time, was that his bot mode is extremely awesome and plenty of fire power there to hold off the Decepticons baddies, but once i turned him around, i was like ugh! he is very thin in the back, no bulkyness there and the parts hanging of his arms and legs and the body panels on his back just didnt do it for me, so i returned him back to Target with great udderly dismay...One thing is to be said is that, dont get your hopes up on a figure you really want, otherwise you could be let down by Hasbro...
Personally, the 2 best figures so far is:
Bludgeon and Mindwipe...

You returned a figure because it wasn't perfect from every
angle? So Hasbro and Target both are having to "eat" product
with no production flaws just because it lived up to every image the packaging and review on internet?
Unbelievable...

I just picked up Brawn today, and I am far more impressed than I thought I would be. He is a great figure all around. I was worried about his "back-wings", but they are ok. Honestly, I like the little bastard better than Bludgeon and Mindwipe. I like him that much.

Awesome head sculpt, and great figure all around.
The only problem with mine is his hips are a bit loose, making posing him a challenge, but that's nothing that a little nail polish can't fix.

The back panels don't bother me anymore. Brawn's quickly turned out to be one of the absolute best N.E.S.T. toys. He and Bludgeon take the top spot. Mindwipe's okay, a little fun even, but he can't hold a candle to those two. Not even close.
Hells yeah.
That said, I seem to recall that Brawn's pistols could be stowed away somewhere other than his hands, in robot mode.
Can someone please clarify this for me?

Might not be what you're talking about, but you can make ghetto holsters out of his hood kibble on his legs...

You can clip the guns to the thin plastic on his shoulder kibble.

I see what you mean. Won't work for me, however. I flip those suckers upside down so it looks like he's covered in armor.

I'll have to try the leg-holsters, I happen to have my 2 Brawns here today. Knew about the clipping onto the shoulder kibble. I just hang his pistols on the tubular parts of his shoulder kibble. He can't actually reach them there, but I can pretend.
