Hello. Here is an ink drawing I did of Ratchet from G1 Transformers. I like Michael Bay's movie, but I dont like how some of the robots like Ratchet and Ironhide have monster faces, like something out of StartTrek or StarWars. there's a vintage feel to this that I really like. it's not that it's just g1 ratchet which helps but it's your shadows and hatch marks maybe. I also like the way it's lit.

I love this. The shape of the shadows really brings out the angular features of his face. And too he looks none too amused with something which makes his nickname 'Doc Hatchet' fit that much better.
