Leader Class Jetfire LEDs ???
Just picked up a Leader Class Jetfire and have a quick question about his lights. From the back of the box I got the impression that there was supposed to be an LED in each side of the chest as well as the head, but I'm only getting the head and the left side of the chest lighting up. Before I open him up I thought I'd see if this was right or whether there should indeed be an extra LED lighting up in there as the store that I got him from have a couple more and are usually okay about exchanges. Cheers guys.

Don't have the toy but when this was raised before the single LED in the chest seemed to be commonplace whilst double LEDs didn't exist so you needn't break him open.

Cool, guess I'll be keeping him then. Also I just meant before I open the box (just messed around through the 'try me' window so far) rather than crack open the toy for a fiddle. I'm not bad with electronics though so I might have a go at adding an extra diode at some stage. Thanks for the quick response.

My Jetfire's chest only has one LED as well. I read somewhere they had to do that to make room for the sound chip or something, but I like to think it either represents his "heart", or it represents the fact that he's old and not everything still works.

Let me dig up the TFWiki info:
Jetfire (Leader Class, 2009)
(...)
Despite the back of the package showing two lights within Jetfire's torso, he only has one light, on his left side, while the other slot that would normally house the light is replaced with a button that emits Jetfire's transformation noise when the toy is transformed.
