And I've seen several cool fanmodes for Energon Scorponok, too.

That turret mode with Optimus is cool! Nice find!

If UOP goes on steep clearance some day, I'll scoop up a spare to articulate the armor, and mod the other trailer onto a better base. Then OP can choose the appropriate trailer for a given mission. Man I'm a geek.

I like the Ultimate design... But that basemode looks like roadkill.

I don't have many MechTech weapons but that could help as well. Maybe more of those around the base mode could make it look more functional and armed.

I have seen some Scorponok listings on eBay. I may spring for one after this thread. I am experimenting with some additional MechTech weapons to see if I can improve Ultimate Op's base.

Limiting UOP basemode to Mechtech? Why not try using some mini-cons that have a weapon mode? They should fit the same size opening the mechtech weapon pegs have.
Energon weapons should work too.

Definitely get a Scorponok if you don't already have one. Dark Scorponok is the only one that needs a cyber key to deploy guns, he also doesn't have the hook at the tip of the tail. Doublepunch has no electronics.

That might help with looking like the base is "manned". It would be nice to see some ramp action on the base - I always was partial to the PowerMaster Op base especially since it also had the turret for HiQ and was sized well for some of the cars.

IMHO the weasiest way is to save them on a site like Photobucket, then just attach the link in your post inside the "image" tags, the "img" button just above the reply box.

Or you can upload it from your computer by clicking the "Upload Attachment" tab below the reply box, but there is a size limit. HTH.

The latest GI.Joe base (the pit) makes a good Transformer base, even leader class figures work with it, it's that big

I have USS FLAGG vibes from it. I'm not really into joes and I will never have to roo to display such an awesome piece unfortunately. I'll have to make do with Castle Grayskull and a single shelf for my Cyberverse scale battle.

I got mine at a thrift store for only 9$. Okay, it was just the main wall and door-gate, but still... It work as a backdrop for my war!

Did you know that a complete Castle Grayskull is only wort around 100-120$ + shipping on Ebay? If you really want one, you know what to do...
