Light Up Barricade TUTORIAL!

Postby Jin Saotome » Sat Aug 11, 2007 7:02 pm

Hey there folks! The tutorial is done and ready for viewing. Please don't ask if I can mail whistles out because I just don't have time to fill hundreds of orders like that. You can find them at the Dollar Tree and if you don't have one close by, see if you can get a friend from the boards here to get you one. Or you can check my EBay auctions because I'll occasionally have altered light kits on there. I wish I could make hundreds of them to supply everyone but there's just one of me, heh.

Enjoy and good luck with your custom modification!

Nice. i already figured out how to do it since its rather simple, i just cant find any leds. Well i do have some, but theres no on or off switch as they came out of a lighter, and the batteries and wires arent held together by anything.

We dont have dollar tree stores in the UK either. Im hoping someone else here can get me one of those whistle thingies as i simply cant find anything like that in this damn useless country.

Why not just get a switch from Maplin or some other electronics shop? As for holding the batteries and wires together, have you considered tape?

I have no idea how to wire it all together to work with a switch, im not very electronically savvy.

And yes i tried tape, it didnt work and it looked stupid. I dont want tape all over my figures. :P

I received my lights today Jin. Thanks!

I installed them with no hassle as i had already made all the other mods by myself when i tried this with some other LED's (that would have worked if it had that darn on/off switch, but they didnt) and i just glued em in and turned em on and started pushing barricade around on the couch and giggling like Homer Simpson. :D

He's 100% official. The first wave of RID toys released had the original Japanese paint scheme (in the US, anyway).
