It has been revealed that next year BotCon convention will be held at California Pasadena Convention Center.

Next year BotCon to be held on the earlier dates compare to this year - 2nd to 5th June 2011.

Great...I was REALLY prepping to go to my first BOTCON in 2011, and they put it in the FURTHEST FRIGGIN' US LOCATION possible, California!! (I live in Maine).

Well, I guess all this does is increase the airfare...

Hopefully I can. Im prepared to give up a lot to be able to afford to go. Hopefully the dollar stays at a reasonable level so I can afford to otherwise I need to save up more money to cover my butt.I wanna get the Primus package for this. I was talking to one of my "aunts" yesterday about doing this( she has known me for years and loves that Im proud of my nerdiness she said go for it. Of course the parents won't like this idea thinks Im a immature little girl.

Well the good news is we already know the date and location so you can start planning now..At least it's not last minute.The earlier you book flights the better. I was worried about cash this year as well but it turned out to not to a huge issue..The key is to know what you want and stick to it...

I know with the add-ons and stuff it came to about $230..So figure $350(primus)+$230 starting cost( unless they somehow lower the prices LoL)

Well the midwest region gets Dairy-Con. While I know a lot of people on here could care less about it, I honestly would love to attend it. The farce type nature of the event has always appealed to me. And i'm STILL hunting a Toiletbot. And let me clarify on my original post some, so as not to offend too many people. I have lived most of my life in the woods essentially & everywhere in California i've been was way too crowded(i'm somewhat prone to S.A.D.). I would love to go hang out with the Seibertron members but I really do wish they would have a Botcon in a bit more, shall we say, sparse location.

Though I think I say this because I really don't know what I'm missing out on yet...I'd like to see BotCon a little closer to home (Denver more specific - but even as far as Las Vegas, Dallas or Kansas City would be alright). At least California is the happy homestead of a few of the 'ol relations - it'll be easy to combine a respectful visit with the in-laws in Malibu with a BotCon ho-down in Pasadena.

I was completely crushed that I couldn't go this year - just couldn't justify the funds to go. But at least the date and the place is set and I've already got the BotCon fund going. Wow, now the hard part starts - waiting until next June!

Well back when it was run by 3H Productions it was rather frequently held around the midwest... 'Course they went bankrupt. But still, It would be nice to have one someplace closer like Minnesota or Indiana again.

I mean, wouldn't be easier for people on either coast to get there that way?
