That's TFCC (Transformers Collector Club, or TFSS, Transformers Subscription Service) Scourge, right? TFC isn't getting into knocking off, are they?

Thanks for the comparison pics. It definitely helps seeing them all together. If memory serves, TFCC Scourge is sold out already, correct?

This rustles my jimmies a bit if it's true... A little note from Maketoys that this would be a full on figure w/trailer would have been nice...

I can only hope that if this does turn out to be a full figure w/trailer that they'll sell some trailer sets separate from the figure itself for those of us already locked in and paid for the TFCC Scourge.

Sorry yea TFCC pic. I think they are out of stock. However you might still find it on ebay or some online stores may still have them like bbts (bigbadtoystore.com). Even if maketoys doesn't release the trailer by itself I'm pretty sure that a KO will come out eventually by someone. I do agree though maketoys should sell the rrailer by itself as well I guess we will have to wait and see. I also hope that Their scourge figure will be sold in regular retail and not like the nova prime which they said will be sold on their site alone.

Totally agree, I think its pretty cool that they have their own figure to go with it, but I already have TFCC scourge, so Iam only willing to buy the trailer. I have the original battle tanker so I would rather not wait for the ko, but if I have to I will.

......Damn it, bought tfcc scourge and didn't need it. Well guess I can put my MT battle sentinel armor on him since I cant afford a SG g2 prime. Wish a ko would pop up for the SG g2 prime mold.

This is crap. Scourge is supposed to be a repaint of G2 laser prime so what I wanted was a repaint of their original battle tanker to go with my tfcc scourge. I dont need their figure or that stupid looking cape. I have hyper novae which deserves his own mold. Scourge doesnt. He has always traditionally been a black repaint of Optimus Prime and I want to keep it that way. Maybe those KO guys will make a battle tanker repaint for scourge. I dont need this wannabe DOTM megatron. Sorry maketoys, not this time...

This is all kinds of weird to me, I thought the black repaint of Hypernovae was supposed to be Nova Prime when he became Nemesis Prime, but this is supposed to be Scourge?

Also, why does everyone love Scourge anyway? He a terrible villain that just screams generic.

I kind of want this, but not as badly as I wanted Nova Prime. The Tonfa-blade is cool as hell and not used as often as it should. I think depending on current finances, I'll pick this up.

Man, this is twice now I am disappointed in Maketoys. Even more so this time then last time!

With Hypernovae, I really felt they were blurring the line between producing original third party products and knocking off Hasbro molds. Yes, their cab was not an exact copy, but there was no denying that it was heavily based on the engineering that went into Has/Tak's RTS Laser Optimus Prime mold.

But, I suppose, at least in that case, it wasn't as if there was an official white version of that mold that was already representing that character in people's collections, so there was unlikely to be any direct overlap with Has/Tak's products.

But now, they're directly competing with an official release. Yes, it is a club exclusive, which theoretically I'm not a fan of either, but my ethics demand that I acknowledge they exist as an official, licensed product. And now Maketoys is producing what is basically a remolded knock-off that will directly compete with that official product. That's not kosher to me.

Bad form, Maketoys. You disappoint me.

I've quite loved the few products of theirs I've gotten in the past. (The original Battle Tanker and Giant Type-61.) I'd hope to enjoy their products in the future. But if this is going to be their model going forward, I may find myself less desiring of getting Maketoys products from now on.

(I know, not likely to bother them much! Or indeed at all. But, as they say, it is what it is.)

I thought that was what they were going for with DoTM Megs, a sort of shout-out to Scourge/Nemesis Prime.

That's an awesome idea! I was thinking the Battle Tanker kits needed to be in their own display as I don't see them playing well with my other displays. What would be another neat addition is to have a "leader" in here, like Xovergen's Nemesis Trailerforce or FP's Shadow Commander armor set.

Devil Z is a cool stand-in persona for the plastic. I might pretend it's a defeated scourge possessed by Violen Jiger. On the side I must say I've always been a fan of most of the head sculpts Maketoys provide!
