Another alternative MP Megs? I might be interested in this one for the right price. I really like MT's quality. However, holy numerous project announcements, Batman!!

I saw the thread name, went and then was when it was just a silhouette.

Weird. He looks kinda...puffy? At least from the linework/digibash anyway. That said I do like him even if he isn't 100% on the model. And MakeToys have established themselves as being superb at doing MP-scale stuff. If we don't see a proper MP Megatron soon (and I'm miraculously in the market for an MP Megatron) I'll definitely get this over Apollyon.

It's a Dreamworks-style Megatron; it's harder to tell because he isn't crouching.

I like this one a bit better than DX9, even though I love DX9's legends sized Mightron. I also really like the MakeToys products I have. I might be tempted by this if not for the price tag....

Do you happen to have Apollyon? I just can't decide if I want to replace him or wait it out for Takara V2. I'm gonna take a good look at Apollyon this weekend, see if anything doesn't look right during transformation and such. I haven't transformed him in a while thanks to his outer grip panels falling off easily (screwed panels when they should be pinned).

I did not get Apollyon. I have heard some good things, but I think I was wary due to some QC issues with previous X-Transbot products. I put up with the QC on those early figures because of the cheaper price. I wasn't willing to risk it on a piece as expensive as Apollyon. Plus, I already have MP-05 (and no MP-10).

I'm primarily a Classics collector with a few select MPs thrown in. And thus far, I have no 3P MPs, though I have been tempted... (Those that might be considered MP, like Wheelie (Ollie?) and Huffer (don't remember which one I ended up with) fit well enough with my classics collection to go there.)

Definitely looks appealing to me. I'll keep an eye on it in any event.

I really like the look of this one. Also, from watching reviews and what I'm reading in this thread, Maketoys seems to do well in terms of QC. BBTS has him expected towards the end of the year which is great for the old wallet.

I pre-ordered this the second I was able. Looks fantastic. Eager to get my hands on him, and looks to be my defacto "G1" Era Megs as of now.

Sure looks that way right below the abs/flank. They also mistransformed his chest, the three indents that are typically on either side of Megatron's lower chest aren't folded out. So maybe with that section folded up you can crunch a little more? The design of this guy reminds me of the Revoltech G1 Megatron. Which reminds me of Pat Lee's Dreamwave artwork. Which reminds me of the good times when I started collecting Transformers stuff again thanks to the Dreamwave G1 resurgence. #memories

Now I'm trying to figure out how the chest is mistransformed, it wouldn't balance out on the back..

Also, the chest panel seems to open from one side to the other?! Like in that episode Skywarp-2 pointed out in the Mightron thread?!
