Hah! I had forgotten Barricade even had a gun! I threw it off to the side and it's collecting dust. But, now that I think about it, he did use it during the final battle in Chicago... maybe I should use it. And yes, stripping it down should help.

Ugh, yeah. This is one of the worst designed Mechtech weapons. I'm constantly having to pop a gear to get it line up just right. In time, it'll just strip the dang thing and the gimmick won't work anyway. =\

I like Roadbuster's chainsaw, to be honest. I spent close to 30 minutes goofing with that thing like an idiot when I first bought him. It was like those babies in the videos "At first I was like
I still tend to do it with each new Mechtech weapon. I can't help it, I'm an idiot.

Weapon: tea cup."
Crankcase: I chopped it into little pieces and reassembled it into a gun that fits over Ratchet's hand.
Barricade: I removed the mechanism and made a smaller gun out of it.
There are other ideas for other figures but I haven't gotten around to them yet.

I do the same thing to be honest. The gimmick is entertaining, but at some point I decided that Roadbuster needed the option to keep his chainsaw out. Prime's was taken out when I painted it up.
Recently got Topspin, but haven't taken the spring out of his claw yet. Said claw also got passed off to Roadbuster since he needs more gun.
