You've only played or seen battle network right? Are you talking about any incartation of Megaman or just one specific megaman game/anime? I'd like to know before I say who wins.

By the way, MegaMan X wins this, even without any of his fancy armors. Unless Sonic gets to go Super Sonic, then X gets his Fourth Armor.

I'm mostly familiar with the original Megaman and some Megaman X by association. Do any major Megaman fans NOT consider X the pinnacle of Megamen? I'm guessing his 3rd or 7th game had his greatest armor set... (or.. 7-3= 4th armor) :-B

I don't think there is a Megaman that can beat the Super-Skunked Heartless-Sonic but I could be wrong :mrgreen:

Does that make KH better than DBZ in sonic lore :shock:

or just Pepe le Pue

I haven't been that big into either of the franchises as of late so I am open to persuasion.

X7 was bad. The parts that weren't side-scrolling weren't all that good, and the voice acting was just bad. You couldn't even play as X for most of the game! You had to play as Zero or Axl.

X8, THAT was awesome. The voice acting got really good (They used the same actors from MegaMan X Command Mission), and the gameplay was actually a lot easier than the other games. (I've never been very good at MegaMan. :oops:

)

But MegaMan Maverick Hunter X has to be the best. An updated version of the original, with X8's voice acting, AND high-quality anime cutscenes!

Yeah, X is a lot better than most other series. (Though the Zero series came very close, mostly because it was so closely associated with X)

okay anything goes, sonic can go super sonic and megaman can have his 4th armor.. + megaman or sonic can call in any allies they have aka. sonic can call in shadow and they can both go super like in Adventer battle 2 and megaman can call in protoman or bass or someone

If anything goes, the only real advantage Sonic has can be nullified by some of X's weapons.

Back in their day these two had great games on 2D systems. 3D is not their true medium. (any sonic game after sonic 3 and Mega man legends)

I have to give it to blue bomber because they realised that leaving MEga man in 2D sidescrolling was a good thing. Unlike team sonic who have yet to make even a medicore game.

Like I said, X7 was terrible. Then X8 came in and it was AWESOME.

Megaman Legend 2 was awsome ( I tell you, Micheal Bay would love it! ) I'm upset they won't bring the psp version here. If you haven't played it, you missed something. I agree MML1 was not outstanding in any way but it's sequel was a very good game. In my top favorites ps1 games along with C:SOTN, MMX4, SFA3 and FF7

I'm going to vote Sonic, he has a specialty in killing robots. I'm pretty sure Megaman is a robot, I may be wrong.

Resident Evil 2 also had terrible _TERRIBLE_ voice acting. Yet I think it's the best of the series.

You know Megaman has faced other very fast opponents. Even some that could teleport. But he still prevailed. The robots Sonic faced are nothing in comparison with Megaman X.

Well, I've not played or seen much of Megaman, but I based my vote on the fact Sonic has taken down armies of robots and fleets of battleships. Megaman might be better than I think, but I still stand by Sonic the Hedgehog.

It was a good concept--Mega Man, fully 3D, with a somewhat free-roaming environment. It just didn't turn out that well.
