OK, after seeing the video, 3 things:

-it would look much better if Laserbeak's head could be hidden (I'm contemplating ruining a Laserbeak by removing the head so it would look good like this)
-Laserbeak's weapons by themselves look awesome on megatron
-it looks like Laserbeak is trying to pick his brain and hump him at the same time...

Overall, clever and very simple combination, even if it needs to be tweaked a little.

I totally agree with you on Laserbeak's weapons. I should've put them on both arms like the pic from the original post. Looks better without the arm canon.

if you mount the weapons on the back then megatron + laserbeak becomes the buster fury from zoids

I don't have Megs, but I do have Laserbeak. Looking at the video, it seems to me that you could get rid of laserbeak's head sticking up over Megatron's if you just turned Laserbeak upside down. Rotate Laserbeak's wings 180 degrees and do the same with his feet. That way, Laserbeak's altmode head will be...in Megatron's ass... But you really won't be able to see it from the front so it's no biggie. Plus, Laserbeak's tail would look pretty kick ass sticking up over Megatron's head..what with the spikes and all.

I've tired it looks very cool, altho it limits Meg's arm movement a great deal.

That's not a problem, it would only be for display purposes. The Leader version will be for posing. :twisted:

This made me go out and buy Laserbeak, and I'm glad I did. Megs looks WAAAAY cooler now!

Well, I got Laserbeak today just for this project. It took me nearly a half an hour to do it right, even with watching the video. He made it look a lot easier than it was for me. Maybe the pieces I got weren't as smooth. I even tried a different way at first. I'm not sure if you know, but Laserbeak's wings are removable. I took them off and tried to attach them directly to Megatron, because with just the wings and Laserbeak's combined weapons Megatron looks badass without the back kibble. But I couldn't do this without modifying Megatron's body, which I didn't feel like doing. So after trying for a while, i finally got it done like it was in the video, with one little exception: in order to get Laserbeak's feet around Megatron's waist, I had to fold down the piece that's Megatron's smokestacks in truck mode. I folded them down until they clicked, and this way I got the feet around easier and it gives additional support to Laserbeak in the back because he just kinda sits on that piece. I gotta say, looks pretty damn cool. But I might still remove Laserbeak's head so it won't protrude so much out over Megatron's. But overall, it was worth it to buy Laserbeak just for this.

Laserbeak also combines with voyager optimus. Laserbeaks footpegs can peg in the ports on OP back. This combo is pretty stable and with OPs leg design it is not backheavy the weight is balanced. LB can also combine with starscream but is very backheavy.
