Hi everyone,
First I wanted to say thanks for everyone that came to see Herb Trimpe this past weekend at the Baltimore Comicon, the turnout was great.
I also wanted to let those of you in the Minnesota area know that Herb will be appearing this coming weekend at the Midwest Comic Book Association FallCon Show in St. Paul. He will be sketching (for a fee) and will sign comics for no charge.
You can see other guests and information on the show at: http://fallcon.mncba.com/F2K8Guests.htm
Herb is probably known to most on this site for his work on the original Transformers series for Marvel, but his career actually started in the late 60's. He had a nearly 100 issue run on The Incredible Hulk, including the first appearance of Wolverine in Hulk #181. He also is known for his work on Godzilla for Marvel, GI Joe, as well as Transformers precursor Shogun Warriors.
If you are interested in getting a commission or recreation from Herb, please visit us at http://www.comicbook-art.com.
Thanks,
Jeff

Cool! I got to meet him at the Montreal Comicon on September 6th. Spoke with him for a while, shook his hand, and he signed some comics for me. It was great meeting him!
