Vicegripx on Instagram posted several more images of upcoming toys for Rise of the Beasts. They include Mainline Wheeljack and Cheetor along with Studio Series Airazor and Battletrap, showing you how they all scale with eachother. He also showed that it is possible to put the Bumblebee Wheeljack's head on the new Wheeljack, just as a fun mod. Here is what he says about that:

Look! I did a thing!
It’s a loose fit, so you’ll want to cram something else in there to get BBM Wheeljack’s head to stay on RotB Wheeljack’s body. You’ll also need to turn the head sideways to transform him.

OK, the more I see Battletrap the more I feel like something is just slightly off on him. I can't put a finger on it though....

Or, with no expectation that a live-action TF movie ever respect a G1 gimmick, that this figure's arms-to-legs body proportion's all worng? Arms too short, legs too long?

The proportions are a bit wonky, though it may be completely accurate to the cgi model, but we'll have to wait and see on that one (or the original design was like that and the character could have been altered slightly in the one year delay)

Also, I've spotted a smilely face in battletrap's chest and now I can't unsee it

No...there's something about the length of the torso in relation to the legs and the legs themselves.

It's his arms! He can't even scratch his own codpiece because his arms are too short. On the average person, the arms come down to about mid thigh. His are at his enemy scrotum. Next to figures with normal length arms like Cheetor, it looks goofy and odd.

They completely ruined my favorite Autobot.
They completely ruined my favorite combiner team. (Terrorcons)
And they ruined my favorite Insecticon team, the 4 deluxe Insecticons. I gave up on ever getting the full team/set unless I go back & buy the crappy G1 toys.

There is really no need for me to continue collecting this franchise. I will pick up BB movie Skywarp & titan Nemesis and finish up my leader Dinobots but that's about it. I might also try to get the full set of BB movie Autobots but I'm really not motivated anymore. I lost interest with Kingdom & they're not doing a damned thing to get me interested again. Everything just keeps getting worse & worse. Maybe that new video game will be good?

I hate when that happens to me, it really screws up my vision and focus on a toy.

I can sympathize. They haven't put out anything in a LONG time that I felt I just HAD to have. I collected all the combiners from Combiner Wars, but after that it's been barely a handful of figures from the lines that followed. The fact the store shelves around here have been practically empty since POTP hasn't helped either. None of the kiddie lines or Baybot mess interest me at all, so I'm having a REALLY hard time staying interested.

I wouldn't put much hope in the game.

Vicegripx and Actar posted some new images showing the upcoming Rise of the Beasts deluxe Nightbird with her weapons properly used to create the car's spoiler. It uses the two hooks and sword. We also have more images of her bot mode and with other bots from the mainline and Studio Series to show scale. Enjoy!

Cannot wait to have her, a badass bot mode and a slick alt-mode, a fun reimagining of the character. It might just be me, but her head is reminiscent of BW Scorponok, his toy head at least.

Nightbeat? That's her name? Not Nightbird? I got excited thinking that my favorite Transforming detective was in the film.

Ok, having her weapons form a spoiler is such a cool and genius idea!

That Nightbird sure got a HUGE... upgrade compared to the original.

Not really seeing anything in the RoB lineup that makes me think, "I want to buy one". Guess it's still kind of early, but so far it seems like I'll be voting 'present' for these figures...

Oddly enough I don't hate the look of Wheel Jack, though I'd never but the bot for him I might get it if i see it on sale and call it something else entirely.

So if it's possible to give the Beewun Wheeljack head to the ROTB body, does this mean it's possible to give the ROTB head to the Beewun body? Hmmmmmm

It's not since the peg hole in the ROTB head is too small

As much as I want to like the figs in this line I just can't. More for everyone else!

The more I see of these, the easier it makes me skip this line.

Some modifications might help. The end result will be a sight to behold.

Can't really say I'm a fan of the colour. I wish they used the original grey/silver. Same concern with Wheeljack: nice figure overall, missing the classic paint scheme.
